Goodness....more than 10 available??!!!! How did they manage that??!!!! Not on to sell them on e bay,so unfair to people who wanted one and didn't get one

Emailed benefit who were very lovely and said if I scanned and emailed them my coupon and address they'd send me one. Pity I don't have a scanner!

Can you not let her know you don't have a scanner? (who does?!) maybe either photo it with a mobile or if (like me) you don't have a camera/camera phone maybe suggest going to a Benefit counter of your choice and picking something up there in return for the coupon/ask if they can scan or send it in or if your happy to, send the coupon via the post (would cost the price of a stamp+envelope though).

I think its appaling that some people were allowed to 'reserve' freebies like this, its like people who put towels down on sunbeds when theyre not using them, or reserve seats in food places when they havnt even got their food. Grrrr. One of my pet hates!!!!!

I generally agree, but in my case for example, I went in on the first day at midday, and there was no stock yet. They told me to come back after 5pm that day. I went back, still no stock....try again tomorrow. Went back the next day, still no stock, so the girl took my name and said she would keep one for me when they eventually came in (the next afternoon). I was grateful - as after 3 wasted trips already, knowing my luck they would have all been gone by the time I got back!! But I know it must be very very frustrating to go to a store and be told they are all reserved - I would be disappointed too.

4 visits later and I got my freebie (persistence!) - lucky the store isn't too far away.

I've got a better one for you: last week I was at the gym, peak time and it was really busy, all the treadmills but one were taken. The one that was not taken had a towel on the side. I waited about 2 minutes before deciding it must have been left by accident and went ahead with my workout and ran.
Exactly 5 and a half minutes into my run a guy comes over, stares at my back (the gym has mirrors) I ignored this. He then walked over to the front of the treadmill, took his towel back and announced very calmly "this was my treadmill". I just looked at him and laughed! I then told him that "mate, you can't just leave a machine when its peak time busy and exact it to be free when you get back!" and got this evil eye look from him (which just made him look immature and me laugh harder!!)
