Hello can i join you for August too please?

I have a full freezer and a bursting tin cupboard!! I have recently started living on my own and need to learn to actually use the food i buy instead of letting it sit in the cupboard

I will have to buy a little bit of fridge stuff and fruit & veg once a week i think.

tonight i will have a stir fry mix i bought reduced yesterday with some noodles and abit of sauce from the cupboard.

Hi quintwins, how about cheese and spinach stuffed savoury pancakes baked with tomato sauce? I sometimes do it as a 'lazy lasagne'. Lizzie
Sometimes, I can't see the wood for the trees - or the couscous for the quinoa... 3 no spends so far for August 2011!

Back! Hadnt actually gone, but was away for the day when I get older and everyone thInks I'm happy about it!

So, since starting this challenge I have lost 8lbs!!!!!
I think this is down to smaller more sensible portions, and a never ending supply of cup soups! I still have 8 boxes left! Gar! My problem is I buy every flavour, try them all, then stock up on which ever one I find cheapest.

Anyhoo, breakfast today is toast, lunch is something pasta something and tea will be a post zumba cup soup

I do need to do a fruit shop and I will try and be good!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning.
Stuffed after last nights meal out, so grapefruit and muesli for breakfast.
Might just have an afternoon breakfast today - got some hash browns (McCains) yesterday for 50p with a 50p off coupon from ASDA.
So sausages, eggs, beans, grilled tomatoes and hash browns - might fry some onions as well, but sadly out of bacon at the moment and need some cheap.
Hopefully a spend-free day, but need milk and bread tomorrow (might bake some bread).
Finally taking out one of my packs of pork mince for tomorrow and I'll either do a spag bol or make a meatloaf.
Got some lamb cutlets to get rid of also - maybe Thursday??

morning all just plain old toast for breakfast today, off out to meet friends for lunch, not sure if i'll make quiche for dinner, i did a tesco order for next week to use the £15 off code, but we're not gonna be here for several days 3days so i'm gonna freeze a few loafs of bread and some milk if i can, i got loads of tins and loo roll and crisps, choccy and sweets to take with us in the car so we don't stop at filling stations while were away so i might leave the quiche and do breaded chicken mash and beans instead, the things we do in the name of a bargain lol

Hello all. I have cheated (already) and gone to the supermarket :o. However, I don't feel too bad about it because of the reason - on Monday evening someone tried to snatch my bag :( he didn't get very far but scared me as he pushed me into a main road. My OH was (understandably) furious, and insisted we go to Mr A so he could get me a drop of Brandy. While we were there he picked up a couple of bits and bobs (which was fine as he was paying - or so I thought) but when we got to the till, he 'conveniently' had forgotten his wallet. Oh well, it could have been worse... Back at work today, found a big tin of pineapple slices so having them now for breakfast then soup for lunch. Got one lonely egg to use up tonight so will look for something to do with that whilst still keeping with my food combining diet.

    Have a good day all.
