thanks Lynsey - made me realise i need to make more time to spend with my dad too, so we're meeting up next weekend. Also made me realise we need to get our wedding organised! I want everyone to be there to enjoy it.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500
Debt payments 2012 £433.270 -
Evening all.
Had a fairly lazy day at Mam's. Mainly because it was my turn to wash up and Dad did it by accident. haha. Did go into Asda though and found some toy bargains. A megabloks set for £1.51 and Guess Who for £6. Bought those as I didn't get ds anything from Toys R U$. I wanted to get him a figure to go with his batcave but they didn't have anything at all. Will try and see if I can get a cheap sledge when I'm doing the school run tomorrow, then that's it, he's getting sod all else til his birthday!
Kirri - no hangover, was just tired and feeling a tad dehydrated. I was fine after about my 4th cuppa.Oh, and I like adding rice to soup if I've some leftover.
Bramble - that's good news about your FIL. Hope he's well enough to be home soon. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -

I hope you are going to share them with your son!!
PS: Hoping the M&S vouchers get sorted in the next 2 days!!
I was toying with keeping them for Xmas as I buy the M&S biscuits for pressies when they are on offer. Might treat myself instead - managed to get 3 and 2 were free. :j The other one I got a £5 credit for.......twice.

Lol Lynsey - We had a couple of games of Guess Who before he went to bed this evening. Think he's a bit too young for it at the minute, hopefully he'll get the hang of it soon and not try peeking at the one I've picked. It was funny though as we'd both picked exactly the same person on both games we played.
You lucky sod getting all those vouchers paid for lol. Well done! I'm either going to spend mine on grub when I'm skint or buy something for ds for summer.
Hey you get groupon emails don't you? I keep getting emails from them to both my emails I use with Windows Live (not my accounts which use gmail) saying 'Your query cannot be answered' as if I've emailed them when I haven't. The email goes on to tell me how I should contact them. You received anything like that? Not sure if it's something going on at my end or a glitch at theirs. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. No problems with Groupon, only use a new email addy for them until I get the £8 credit and once I use the credit, generally forget about the email addy.
I've used mickeymouse@gmail, minniemouse@gmail, donald duck etc, still got a few Disney characters to go. :rotfl:
Only do 1 per month........long may the "glitch" last.

lolol. I'll steer clear of disney characters then! Hmm best not tell groupon that I'm only getting emails to two out of the 4 emails I've registered with lol. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. OH decided to go cook (excuse to knock back wine) and did rabbit casserole - fantastic veg, chewy rabbit. I think my 15 year old Moffat gas oven now knackered - either that or tough bunny. Not happy with any of the game eaten so far from my Foodari order. Fancy a mashed swede-topped cottage pie this week so may have to dive in the freezer to find the veal mince ! Not had any other ideas yet but do have gilthead bream and a whole Scottish salmon (steaked up) languishing in the depths - Sainsbos bargain at 14.27 !!0

Well we nearly stuck to the menu yesterday - all except the ice lollies bit! Too cold for lollies so i made some double choc mini cupcakes instead using up some old choc no ones going to finish and bingo! they're all gone!
Still have some mash left over from lunch yesterday so will get some pork out of the freezer and some frozen veg and do a casserole to go with it. Tuna rolls for me and son#1 for lunch with freezer soup, chicken and veg.
I'm so sad to see the snow leave, my dogs first time in the snow and she became really giddy, loves it, runs up the road licking the floor! and she looks so cute in her little padded jacket!
Have a good day, we love guess who here - you never grow out of it so you got a bargain, mine will still play it at 15,18 & 25!!!??? who needs an xbox ( granted they do spend longer on the xbox:mad:):rotfl:vintage43:A
