Did you whisk for long enough? I seemed to be whisking for ages and then all of a sudden it "went" - I didn't think the food processor worked but I used an electric hand whisk.

Believe me, I whisked it for ages - I'm talking at least half an hour. I am wondering if it was because I only tried a small amount - not a whole pot. It was thinckening up to look like whipped cream but never advanced beyond that stage

^ Half an hour, I wouldn't have that much energy!

    Today:

Breakfast - remains of batter/lemons for pancakes

Lunch - crispbread and cheese I think, lazy..

Dinner - wondering what to do with a celeriac at present!

I'm in panic mood today, flipped last night when reminded of the gammon and bacon in garage fridge!! I don't want to freeze them!!
Decent dates on them, but still trying to eat cheese, crackers, crisps, snacks, biscuits etc. from Xmas.
I wanted to create a little freezer space, hopefully creating an empty drawer, but it takes time. Also got 2 Groupon restaurant deals to use up, which will not clear freezer space.
Need milk tomorrow and NOT buying anything else apart from maybe bread, which should help budget.
Strange feeling today, but I don't feel in control and it should be the opposite, loads in and nothing to worry about. I'm thinking I'm worrying about how to use it all - madness.
I'll be happier after tomorrow when a pack of bacon has been used and the gammon has been eaten. Start on some fish on Thursday.

Lots of lists................hope you lot haven't missed anything off. :D

Started writing mine down on the back of a roll of wallpaper and gave up when I started on the back of the 2nd roll. :rotfl:

That's a lot of food lipstick! Have you worked out how many weeks worth it is??

I nearly went to Asda today but resisted as didn't need anything urgently, was just after a few things they have on offer.. may go tomorrow though.

Go on, get yours up!! It will hopefully stop me losing things and buying again and ending up with duplicates plus I am finding it easier to meal plan checking it on lists - and moving things up the list to use first etc! Oh for the day when I have less in the cupboards :D

I have found a few things I missed off the list, pack of amaretti biscuits and some groundnut oil for starters.

It actually didn't take too long, I only really did one side of a food cupboard and an extra shelf, plus the freezer, which I did suprisingly quick. Was writing it on my tablet though so maybe that made it a bit easier. I've missed off the other half of the main food cupboard with all the spices etc in. Oh and another shelf with flours and baking stuff in. Might do the rest tomorrow to help with meal planning.

Think I'll do that tomorrow Kirri lol. See if it will last me the next two months with minimum spend!

Anyone got any ideas what I could make with the sausage meat? Apart from stuffing lol.

I've got loads of sausages in the freezer, 15p and 25p per pack over the Xmas and I was thinking of making pasta bakes with some (got pork and tomato which would work ok) as I've no meatballs left. I've been using burgers of late (ASDA Extra Special) and they have made a nice alternative, hopefully sausages rolled into balls would be just as nice??
