Skintlass you can indeed get cleaners in twice a year for a deep clean. If you have a look in your yellow pages you should find a local company you can get a quote from.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

I have had a few cleaners over the years too with similar experiences - start well and then you end up wondering what you're paying for. Moggins I love the idea of a deep clean twice a year I think Ill look into that.

Tomorrow I have the carpet cleaning man around as well as my parents who havent been here since before christmas  so both of these mean that I need to get my act in gear so that a) the carpet cleaning man can see the carpet he needs to clean and b) create the usual illusion to my folks that the house is always perfect:rotfl:

    Plan for today then

    Ironing
[STRIKE]Hiding [/STRIKE]tidying all the stuff on the bedroom floor and surfaces
    Hoover all carpets
Relax with a large glass of wine
Tidy lounge/dining room though to be fair thats not too bad
Go out with mates and wish I had a cleaner:rotfl:

Keep your fingers crossed for me Im going in:D
