Tee hee. Didn't go on 4hr hike - feeling sh**. Just had phone call from DH saying they have had to abort due to flooding - couldn't get themselves, never mind furry beast across safely. So will have company for the evening.

Some flying still going on, but not spectacular.

Small amount of shopping done.. Tiddles been to her bowling party.. I felt really bad one woman asked if we would give her a lift home and thinking she had 1 child with her I said yes.. then I realised she had 2 with her and I had 4 of mine so they wouldn't fit in.. :( .. Mimi and Moomin treated to McD's... they were so excited.. they've only ever had it a few times.. deprived children lol.

Shopping now away and Squeak in bed.. poor pea was shattered.

Off to drag OH outside to mince the grass, scare the rabbits and I'll fill a bin :D

its been a bit of a none day today, just potterd and slept with my feet raised. have mega puffy ankles and hands so need to raise that with the consultant tomorrow morning. im not concerned about it, just annoyed as had to wear flip flops and cant get my wedding ring on!

OH has tidied up the spare room and sorted out a lot of thigns, there are still boxes to be unpacked but its mainly books so i should be flying properly next week as i feel off the wagon this week.

next week he goes away so suppose will be on here alot more feeling sorry for myself lol

well not much point in doing an updated list will save that for next week :)

    Afternoon all

It's been a lovely but tiring weekend here. Yesterday was the summer fair which was very successful and raised £1900, the best bit was that we had no rain despite the forcast :D

Miss A's flapjack sold out and the raspberries we took dow to church this morning all sold too.

It has been so warm here this afternoon, too warm to sit out really. I have pegged some washing out and have some more to go out shortly.

Had no chance to catch up on the thread and TBH shan't bother now as I haven't enough hours in the day. Hope everyone is well, if there is any news in particular can someone point it out.

Miss A is baking ginger biscuits so I am off to investigate as the house is smelling divine even with the windows open.

ETA Miss A won 7 bottles of wine on the water or wine stall (where hit rate was 1 in 4, £1/go) for £10 investment! And then she won another bottle on the tombola where the majority of stuff was the usual tombola tat :rotfl:

Final check-in for this week; I'm feeling really quite pleased with myself.

I mentioned a while back how difficult I find it to get bras to fit me, in a style I like.... well, today I got SIX!!! Nice colours, underwired, and without pads.:j:j:j:j

Also got a dress, in a shop I bought a skirt in back in 2003, which I still wear no end.

That's got to be my entire clothes shop for the rest of this year, clothes shopping being a task I normally loathe with a passion.

Nowt to do with Flying, I know, but I had to tell someone!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
