I keep looking for the 'like' button, spent too much time on Facebook, anyway I 'like' your post valli :T

I'm all dressed in new summer gear (bought last winter sale) and I look quite nice, for me it's unusual, you normally find me in cleaning gear looking frazzled.... like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards, trampled on by elephants then chucked in the swamp then left to drip dry on a washing line for a few days.

Waiting for DD1 now and I hope she hurry's up cos we're marvin'.

    laters lovelies! xx
  • Afternoon all.

DH has taken up 40 yr old flotex in the kitchen. The mess is indescribable and he has managed to pull the plug off the freezer.

    Oven chips, anyone?

Stopped now as the Grand Prix men have stopped by!, along with a bean salad and a a treat a very small amount if ice cream.

The cat has flobbed on the carpet, it is just too hot for him as he 'helpped' me do the garen earlier by chasing about with bits of long grass.

    Afternoon all

I managed to get a bit done in the fruit garden but it is too hot.
    Lunch done
    Floor mopped
Street party stuff sorted for later

Really happy that we have got some more olympic tickets and DS3's team won their cricket match.

Need to check the online banking next and then I'll do some ironing whilst it is so hot outside.

WE've had a power cut for a couple of hours so I've had no internet. Been to Macro for a few bits including some stuff for work. Now I'm going to sort the DR out I think.

I lost the use of my laptop last week and the week before but fingers crossed I have it working again. My intention is to start at level one tomorrow and see how I manage.
DS2 is off to Turkey on an archaeological dig for a month with uni so down to four men for a while.

valli I have a 21st birthday banner going spare if you would like it! Can't remember what I sent last time. They are all over 21 now.

Have made a huge Indian meal for the family to give DS2 a good send off. Just waiting for their return from the pub.

Fruit picking went well, had a phone call from DSD saying she was doing a BBQ if DD wanted to go so dropped her off and went to a couple of shops.
OH rang, he is going to stay at the van till tomorrow......he is working nearer there than here tomorrow, so makes sense.

Think I will have a chill out while I have the house to myself after popping to the shop and getting something nice to eat :)
