Well I have a multiple smurf personality - handy, jokey and clumsy! I'm a bit worried about that sentence! ;)

Managed to put most of the washing away yesterday and also did the food shop last night with a reluctant Moon in tow. I still managed to forget to put loo cleaner on the list though!

Glad you had a lovely birthday carlsberg - go and have a fry-up to make you feel better.

Well I don't know what Moon and I are going to do today. The weather outside doesn't look too good - really misty looking and dull. I'm absolutely boiling though, cos Moon had got the wood-burner on again to heat up the hot water!

I'm off to find some breakfast now.

Hugs to all who need or want them, and if you're reading this LadyL, I hope your weather has improved.

    Morning

Turned out to be busy yesterday afternoon, me and hubby built are horse for the sticks (FIL drove over the last one with the tractor), then my dad rang asking if i needed sticks so he appeared with a trailer load. :D

Plan today is doing bits and pieces in all rooms.
    1) check all the paint brushes
    2) sort school stuff
    3) more washing
    4) move some stuff out of our room
    5) clear and clean back hall
    6) give bathroom a good clean

I'll add more as i go along...
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Must GOA and fly today and tomorrow. VAT inspection for one of my clients first thing on Tuesday.

But really CBA. Been kept up past 2 nights with retching. I am getting so sick of this. ((forgive the pun))

Supposed to be going for a 4hr hike up Ben 'somewhere' this afternoon. But as my legs feel like wet noodles I think I might cry off. It's also p***ing down with rain so not a really attractive option either way. However, dog has just presented me with yellow ball so I'm off to get wet when DH gets out of the shower.

Morning all...I haven't visited, nor done any flying all week as I've been in and out all week, more out than in, plus we're halfway through painting the whole downstairs of the house, so it's been a case of tidying areas to try and keep it presentable lol and washing up. I did however spend all day tuesday tidying, cleaning and organising upstairs. I figured a lot of my downstairs clutter includes the little ones toys she doesn't play with a lot, clothes that ought to have been put away tends to to be dried, folded then dumped somewhere, only to be knocked over and trodden/slept on (by pets) thus needing to be rewashed, and other upstairs gibble. So I sorted it all out up there, make sure I take clean clothes straight up (does anyone have any top tips for getting through the mountain of laundry when the WM was out of action? I also sorted the little ones toys into smaller storge boxes, then she can have one down at a time, and the rest in her room, but sorting them so there's good variety in each means that I can exchange them on a daily basis if needed and she doesn't get bored.

Today I've jotted down the tasks and plan to try and complete level one on each day...wish me luck!

I do hope everyone's ok and I'll come back and read how everyone's doing later, as if I sit here much longer I'll keep making excuses not to get going!!

What Smurf am I? You are Papa Smurf. You are a natural born leader. You are wise for your years and enjoy the simple things in life. You are happiest when those around you are happy and when life is harmonious. Sometimes you bear the weight of the world on your shoulders, but you genuinely want what is best for others and will make the sacrifices to achieve it. The world is a better place with you in it!

Done my online order, what a drama but it will get easier the more I do it, and it IS saving me money :money: 80p for a solitary red pepper though  this cooking malarchy is mighty expensive, but from the new veggie recipe I'm gonna try (hark at me- Delia eat your heart out) I should get 2 meals out of it so yay. Still got a small shop in Farmfoods and Iceland though, a few bits in there that are tons cheaper than Asda, will probs get them today, AND I'm stockpiling so at least one week in the near future I wont have to buy anything. It's all good :D

tidied the LR and I'm gonna start on the DW and kitchen S&S now, can't find enough washing for a full load *hurumph*

Breakfast eaten, and Moon and I have decided to go on a walk into town along our canal, and I can get the loo cleaner whilst I'm there. Hope it doesn't rain.

  • Hello to all Flyladys(and gents!) :wave:hope were all having a good weekend!

I'm new to all this "flying", but I tell you I've been reading back through this week's thread and I think its such a good idea! Whilst I haven't got any health complaints (hugs and pozzie vibes to those who do) I'm at work all day and when I get home I just want to flump in front of the TV! I need to get out of that habit and just "get on with it"!

So with great trepidation I'm going to take the bull by the horns and get organised (ouch I said the "O" word!) next week!

    looking forward to it! xxxx
