I've been a member of Pigsback for nearly 5 years now, but haven't really used it to it's full potential, so I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here who has helped with quiz answers and ways to get extra points. It's been very much appreciated :T
I haven't won anything yet, but I'm hoping persistence is rewarded0 -

This is the point.. pigsback CLAIM it is.. but how can it be.. noone with a HU postcode has ever won, as far as I am aware... I would LOVE to be proved wrong! They are almost all from the south of England and a few from NI, Scotland and Wales.. Couple in Lancashire.. I've seen one from Doncaster (DN) and one from Bradford (is theirs BD?) but what about all the other Northern postcodes? Nothing has been up for any of them.. so are we, in fact, wasting our time?
I have a Hu postcode and admittedly never won anything but i have noticed that the same person from this area has been a winner twice over the years!"if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170 -

Thought I'd stick in my twopenneth (I'm not even sure if that's the right word!) but I agree and the way I look at it is if everyone was to get a turn winning then surely that would be less random than it is now. Sure it would be fairer but would it be random? I say having multiple winners makes it more likely to be random than having everyone win at least once.
Just my thoughts :think:0 -
I have a LN postcode (Lincoln) and I have won twice over the last few months. Surely if it wasn't random, then Pigsback would not make it so obvious? ie spread the winners over the country, if you see what I mean!:smileyheaRachel xx0

Thanks!
Hi essbee,
In the Darragh days we asked about Play.com and he replied that it would be a conflict because they already have an affiliation with CDWow, so unfortunately no, no points for Play.com.

Not that I'm ungrateful, I've had a nice bundle of vouchers from PB over the years and it helped me get through last christmas
it is an interesting topic, perhaps PB need to review the randomness of their program, do they get a computer to pick the winners?
Good luck to everyone!!
Thanks to Jules for the crossword link, and the quiz links with the answers:A :
