I suspect I might have found your seller and you may well have had a lucky escape as she is also using stock photos, heaven knows what state the used itemmight be in.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Very confused you don't win item as second highest bidder unless you mean it was offered to you because first buyer dropped out.
.
In fairness to the OP this was corrected in post 4.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Think I found your item as well.
The seller is very inexperienced and by the looks of things has not sold anything on ebay yet, only bought - she has left some pretty poor feedback for others though so perhaps she should get a taste of her own medicine!0 -
Wouldn't the £10 Buy It Now disappear if a bid is placed? If that is the case, it sounds like she just got the listing wrong or didn't understand that.0

Certainly sounds like a hard customer to please.
It also looks as though she's dreaming if she's wanting £10 for it going on the completed listings.0 -
Really appreciate all the help guys - how on earth did you find the seller!!??! :-)
You're right soolin, they are stock photos, i'd not noticed that. We wouldnt want to meet the seller to complete the transaction anymore, its more the principle of the thing now, we've both made sales at a loss or with virtually no profit in the past, but have still completed them and took lessons from our mistakes!
Think we will just take a trip to mothercare and buy one new, something are probably best not brought on ebay!
Have contacted ebay to see thier take on it, thanks again for the help, i'll let you know how things proceed.0 -
I bought an item for a car off ebay for £40 never fitted it, Sold car. Advertised the item on ebay start at 99p.
Sold for 99p... I was gutted. But I sold it to him and even delivered it to his area, I delivered there in my lorry anyway.
I think he felt sorry for me & handed me a note said keep the extra.
Risk you take listing for so little.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Once you know what the item is (a bath), and how much it sold for (£1.20), all you have to do is do a search through the recent completed listings.
This is why if you want to keep your ebay user id private, it's best not to give too many details when posting.0 -
