Ive had a few good ones since r+r ended mainly games that the stickers were more than 50% less than what was charged but I just no longer go in tesco so often. I do get the odd £2 gift card from asda which is helped by looking out for signs like I did in tesco.
all the rubish about golden and platinum got on my nerves what made somthing platinum and not golden?0 -
Let me explain what I classed as a platinum:
Offer states "buy an apple with an orange and save 50p"
You buy the apple and the orange but only save 49p.
You get RnR.
You then take the apple back.
You then take the orange back.
You get refunded the full price for both (i.e they don't refund you the cost of each minus the 49p that you had knocked off).
Does that make sense, I've tried to explain it as best I can, but not sure if it makes sense??0 -
Missed out on the 360's but 2 guys at my work got them, one did the golden.
My fave was the Moet champers, love free champagne.0 -
I keep returning to this thread to catch up on current misprices, as the title includes the words "please only post misprices here", but all we seem to get lately is people reminiscing about the good old R&R days.
Can't you start up a new thread with an appropriate title? This really is wearisome. Thank you.0 -
Country Life Butter £1.06 or 2 for £1.60
This deal is expired but still on the SEL
Hence I was charged £2.12 for 2 and then refunded £1.04 (after pointing out the policy on the board behind the CS girl)0 -

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

My 360 experience was funny!
I had tried loads of diff Tescos, but all were priced correctly. Came to the last one in my little tour and soon as I entered I noticed their R+R boards behind the CS desk had been altered with duck tape and marker pen to say it's just DTD instead. Regardless I knew they couldn't do that and went to the 360s and voila! there it was, perfectly mispriced and ready for the taking! A whole £1 over priced on the self scan machines and I paid for CC. The women must have wondered how the heck I realised within 2 minutes that I had been overpriced by a WHOLE 0,3% when I asked them to solve this problem.
Manager came over and quite proudly pointed to their DIY R+R board, and I had to come up with a quick story to say my GF had been given R+R on some goods she purchased a while back and I thought that was their policy nationwide! He said no, but I stuck to it and eventually he got me the CS phone number and I rang them up, they promised to investigate and then rang me the day after saying they'd honour R+R this time but that I wouldnt be able to get it in the future 'cos policy changing.
lovely story!0 -
