Bought two boxes of Stella Artois priced at £16. Scanned at £20 asked for DTD. There was a small print separate near customer service. Big hooey , they called the manager who rudely told me I was wrong, there was no offer. I took him to the sign and begrudgingly he said he'd give me the difference. I pointed to the sign and asked for DTD. Without a word to me, he turned to the girl on the till, said " Give her £16." and walked away! So, I wasn't going to argue!!
£4 paid for 40 bottles of Stella!

    :rotfl: Well done :T

That's right. I was been charged £10 per box - a total of £20. The offer was two boxes for £16 so, I was overcharged by £4. Not my fault if the manager thought twice 4 was 16!!!:rolleyes:Unfortunately he removed the sign with the offer on or I'd have sent hubby and friends to collect more bargains!!:rotfl::rotfl:

  • A warning about a kind of mis-price if you shop at the new small temporary store in Oldham while the other new Tesco is being built. Just got a text off my mum telling me not to bother going as its too small etc, but also because she was charged £12 for two jumpers on her receipt.......and they don't even sell clothes, so beware !

in the new h n b leaflets there is a misprint

    open it up first page,

colgate sensitive toothpaste, sensitive and multi protection, both 100ml pump tubes, should be 1.97 each or 2 for 3 quid, they go through the tills at 2.76 and 2.97, no multibuy discount - check yellow sels also as with the tubed boxes it does state colgates 100ml are included as shown in leaflet ;)
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D

Two widely disparate misprices today - 100 plastic file covers, red sticker attached, shows £1.09. Charged £1.69 - dtd, £1.20
Rice flour - £1.04, also £1.29, identical item/brand on another aisle.
Also drew attention to 150 points not added for Johnson's Baby wipes - 2 different yellow/black SELS over all 3 types: 1 said 'on any 2...', the other just ' on any'. They 're all double packs anyway, so the case can be made for missing points regardless.

Only one yellow sign saying 150pts when you buy any johnson 128 pack of wipes, it should say when you buy 2 packs. I left it as I don't want to draw attention to my points collecting but its worth checking stores if you're braver than me, lol.
