  • A warning about a kind of mis-price if you shop at the new small temporary store in Oldham while the other new Tesco is being built. Just got a text off my mum telling me not to bother going as its too small etc, but also because she was charged £12 for two jumpers on her receipt.......and they don't even sell clothes, so beware !

It is very small and they don't stock much. I doubt I will go again. Also I bought a chicken yesterday, and when I got it home I opened it and it absolutely stunk I had to throw it away, although I will be sending a complaint email about it.

Misprice at Tesco chadderton today on Pataks madras curry paste. SEL was 64p, was charged 1.38. Received total DD of £2.96 as I bought 2. Nice CS staff gave it me with a smile, and she didn't take label off shelf either.

I am a little confused, and a newbie!! I was overchaged 40p on tomatoes a while back, and all they gave me was the 40p refund. i mentioned the DTD and they said it was no longer.. is it store specific please??

Welcome to the boards & say goodbye to your life.... :p
The DTD is not store specific, they SHOULD do it everywhere even the small petrol station express thingys.
There is a blue board that is always on the wall behind customer services that states the policy. It sometimes helps to point this out to the sales assistant!
I may be shy, but that doesn't make me an angel ;)

There should be a "thanks" button at the bottom of every single post you see on the forum, except your own, where it's replaced with an "edit" button (it's next to the "quote" button). If the button's not there, then there must be a problem with your browser. I see you've been a forum member for over 18 months so I'm surprised you haven't noticed by now.

    Hi

I have just come across this thread and am pretty new to the shopping at tescos, I used to shop in asda. I wonder if someone would mind explaining this dtd to me. I think ive got the gist of it. How do you come across these things and do they really have to give you dtd if you have been overcharged.

No thanks necessary, but welcome to the forum and congratulations on your first "thanks". Hope you hang around for a while and become a permanent poster - we're generally pretty nice here ;)
