Someone had put it in a security box and left a sticker on "Hurry while stocks last £15"

Checkout girl scanned and paid for it

    Scanned at £39.71

I questioned it after I had paid as she had taken the box off which had the sticker on. Good samaritan customer behind me also vouched it said £15.

She told me to go to cust services. After arguments and getting the security box out. Cust Service said this is the wrong sticker and it is not the real price.

    Still gave me DTD though.

    £39.71 Game with DTD £49.72

    Result!!!!!
August Make £10 per day £0/£310
Credit Card Debt Paid Off £42/2952.68

Got charged £1.98 for Shape yogurt 8 pack from tesco.com - store it comes from is Hampton.

Does Double the difference apply for online orders too?
Don't know about online but I saw this yesterday in Camberley Tesco and got £1.98 back and 8 yogurts.

The 'Mint Sauce Price War' is now over....seems that both Tesco and Sainsbury have now put there basic mint sauce back to normal prices.I always think its strange how they all change at the same time.

I am well chuffed, my first DTD. I saw the first series of Red Dwarf and thought great, I saw the post about the other series' @ Virgin for £6 (except series 1) and thought I would start off my collection.

Even though it's stickered @ £7 it goes through @ £14, I am standing on my brother's foot because I know he is about to say something. Go to CS and got refunded £14 no problem, didn't even have to ask for DTD.

This was at the Cannock store but there my be others marked at the same price in other stores.

Yesterday got the motorola phone currently on promotion as £59.xx but if spend £25 on shopping get phone for £34.xx. As usual money never came off so got £50 back so phone for £9.xx. Bit of an argument as apparently dtd doesn't count on offers!!!! yeah right. Good luck.

Picked up one of these. Likewise, they tried to fob me off.
First reason for no DTD was "that finished in January".
Second, a call to duty manager who stated "that as it was a checkout operator error, ie they had not manually subtracted the discount, it did not count as DTD. That only came into effect if for instance, an item was scanned twice"!!!
More digging in of heels from me and the guy in charge of the hardware section was summoned. He was very pleasant and instructed CD to give DTD.
    PHEW!! but worth it.

Only thing is, I now find Tescomobile will not supply unblock code until £30 of credit has been placed on phone!

IIRC provided the phon costs more than £35?? they can't refuse the unblock code.

BTW lest they say 'but you only got phone for £9.99', you didn't...you paid £59.99 for phione and they gave you £50 under a different scheme.

Threatene them with TSO and Ofcom and that might wake them up a bit.

Alternatively take to a local phone shop..most can unblock for a tenner.
