Tesco's Finest Exquisa potatoes, big signs everywhere saying £1.99 each, buy one get one free, offer still well in date.

Bought two, discount didn't come off so went to customer services. They went and asked produce manager who said the offer had been ended early by head office but they hadn't told the stores

This offer is still showing online for me.

    Buy 1 Get 1 FREE - valid from 13/08/2007 until 26/08/2007 - add 2 for offer

Maybe it has only been withdrawn in certain areas.

Edit. In fact, as of Wednesday morning, the offer is no longer showing online for me, so it seems like Dougs is spot on.

When I was paying tonight I overheard a couple of SAs discussing the fact that the BOGOF on sweetcorn wasn't going through on the checkouts.

Not something I could be bothered to go back and get, but someone might like to try it.

Think I might spend a couple of hours hanging out by the customer service desk - seeing what misprices people complain about - then run round the shop and grab them all :rotfl:

    SEL £3.43, charged £6.77.
Got £6.66 back, so sleeping bag cost 11p.
They were in the seasonal section in Ayr

Is this mis-price likely to be store specific to Ayr - can anyone tell me? I could do with a couple of sleeping bags.
