Tesco misprice discussion area part 16

The Tesco tactics are working! I would normally do my big X-Mas shop at Asda or Morrisons but the lure of a potential R&R was too great.

Prime Suspect was Kroneberg, but the A5 SEL had been marked up in pen to state that it was excluded from the 2 for 16.

A few more items on my list : Deal or no Deal, Dr Who Boxset, Lego SW II for PS2, all priced correctly.

So, stuff this I ain't leaving without an R&R so off to the meat dept to thoroughly check everything - no misprices.

So, Tesco get a 100+ spend out of me and I got no R&Rs - their drug dealer tactics are most definately working:mad:

Yes , it's the same for me. I would normally shop at Siansbury's/Waitrose but now visit Tesco regularly and spend a lot of money there (I even buy petrol there), so although I have done well out of them they have also done ok out of me. I don't know whether to go later today for my Christmas shopping (I'm becoming addicted) or relax a bit and go to Sainsbury's instead.

Does anyone know when wombling when you added the point onto your card and the CS give you the recipts back and hasn't crossed then out with a pen if you can claim the again?

I'm very new to this thread, reading just over the last couple of days or so. As I'm a vegetarian, and tea-totaller, the things that interest me are the DVD's and the mobile phones especially.

For these phones, am I right in saying that the discount of £20 is not coming off at the till, therefore potential for an R&R? Or am I missing something here, some people mentioned the W810i specifically, but it could work for any phone over £50?

Any help would be much appreciated.

No, that would be stealing.

The specific problem with the w810 is that the sign after the reduction says £147.97 and not £149.97 so even if the discount is taken off by the operator then you are still overcharged by £2.

I think Tesco are trying to give games away, producing Weekly chart posters with offer on that only last 3 days!

So the staff in charge of the games section are used to changing all the games posters on Friday, but this one needed to be changed on the Monday for exactly the same chart poster with W/C 15/12/06 but without the offers on! I think Tesco marketing just make up these offers to confuse Tesco staff (although it not usually that hard! They managed to change the SELs, about 10 seconds to check the posters is probably not too much to ask!)

The original poster has the smallest writting at the bottom that the offer expires on the 17/11/06.

Hi guys, I've been on here about an hour just catching up! I do agree that misprices are thin on the ground at the moment, but I'm sure they'll mess up again soon! been to 2 with all correct pricing, BOO!
