I notice a few, just doing their "Christmas Shop" in the hope of just getting the odd RandR.

Some of the other supermarkets are generally cheaper and the quality isnt any less.

There'll be plenty of RandRs after Christmas.

Please dont feed the Tesco Troll, in the hope of an RandR.

You're giving him his money back, that we've been happily taking all year.

Seasons Greetings to all you and your's

There are still plenty of R&R's in store,

I've just got Finest aberdeen angus burgers sel 1.59 pack 1.66

Organic skinless chicken breasts sel 13.99/kg pack 14.54/kg (most packs correctly priced but i found 3 packs incorrectly priced ) ;)

And in my local store that never has stickers on dvds, The Goonies triple dvd pack stickered at 15.97 :D

Spent approx £35 in store and was refunded £32 at cs desk :D

There was someone on the paidtoshop website that was called in by the manager and told they had cctv of her wombling, she also had her clubcard account closed and I believe received a letter to say she was banned from the loyalty scheme.

Maybe she was doing it alot, lurking in the car park all day searching trollies, i could understand banning if it was that bad. Maybe harrasing customers for their reciepts!!:p

Ive never seen or heard any mention of bans for "wombling"....I thought i'd read every post since day 1....................are you sure.

I've had "Wombled" points deducted............but a ban seems rather severe.

yes, I was referring to FloFlo's post mentioning the paid to shop forum.. sorry, should have made that clearer :-)
  • can anybody please tell me if you can claim r+r if you have a leaflet with a cheaper price on an item than is on the sel in store?

I hate it. Pointless and needless. Your words should be enough - no need to super size it or colour it. Its the forum equivalent of shouting, imho
It is shouting if the whole post is in bold.......but lets face it, some people need to be shouted at, and some posts need certain words to be emphasised......

Look at your name above, its on bold to emphasise it, to show who you are replying to.

I enbolden words and sentences when I think they need to stand out from the rest.

I edit my posts if there are silly spelling mistakes or typing errors. or if i say something not in the manner it was expected to read.

I have no problem with others doing this.

PS, just tried to look up the word "enbolden"....doesnt seem to exist.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Yes, you certainly can, providing there are no "disclaimers" in the leaflet.

Disclaimers come in the form of....

    "only available at certain stores"

    "subject to availibility"

    etc.

EDIT...make sure you read the whole leaflet.

The points will add on again if they haven't crossed out the barcode, I haven't done it myself but I have heard of someone rubbing out the pencil lines when a cs used a pencil to cross the barcode. IMHO its not worth losing all your points over.

That sounds a bit primitive though, doesnt it FloFlo......in these days of high technology, having to put a pencil line through a barcode to nullify it........

    I'll have to try this!!

I know if I am going to be banned I'd rather be accused of abusing the policy with an xbox in my hand than for trying to claim an extra 5 points with a rubber in my pocket.
