The postie is over on the Every Penny site, he and all his aliases have been banned, no wonder its quiet here, thats about 10 regular posters missing.

I hope everyone has found the misprices shopping list a real help ?, can all please help Starb and SunnD by posting your misprices over there., they are aiming to have a list compiled between 4-6pm on a daily basis in preparation for you evening r&r'ers. http://misprices.forumup.net/

yes..well the kids did..I made a point of getting them when cs got the money out of the till, with her stupid santa hat on and looking as miserable as scrooge, and the 11 year old said 'and can I have the receipt back too please'

Well, you've got the refund, chill out, the next time will be daunting but much nicer, take my word for it.

Yes Wlfc1, it is very slow tonight, & quite boring watching, thus why I'm typing. No more laughs I guess, might get those pressies wrapped at long last.

    Evening all!

Been offline for a while due to ISP probs (Bloody talktalk!)

Just been catching up, had 30 odd pages to read!!!

Havent had many R&Rs lately but used £300 to £400 worth of coupons in the past week (lost count!) so probably better than R&R in all honesty!

The local stores have wised up to it and adjusted all their self scan tils though! Grrr!
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

K60sav, you definitely have a nicer store than mine, I wanted vouchers for a pair of shoes with no receipt, they said I couldn't have vouchers, I had to exchange them for something in the clothe department.
You've been lucky on all accounts.

I have to second the advice to take them back to another store, some take them back unsealed and some don't; just say it was sold like that.

But if it was me I wouldn't have put 2 on the same receipt, as it looks more genuine to return one game (duplicate present). TBH, what I would do is return one at a time, making sure you get the receipt back after the first return. At least the receipt doesn't show what game they both are, so 2 separate returns should be fine, just say you bought 2 games but realise the kids have already got this one.

But it's a faff and you'll have to try at least 2 other stores to do the 2 returns....in case they remember you've just returned that game!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Ok but of Advice please.......

I have been R&Ring now for about 4 weeks and had some amazing stuff. I tend to go to about 6 different stores but i am now finding it more and more difficult with the CS staff. I get the feeling they will start to know my face and im getting worried about doing it again. Where do i stand if they say "You done this last week..." or should i not risk ?
