Tesco misprice discussion area part 16

I had a rough time in T last night when buying Kronenburg.
All of a sudden there was no SEL to be found. Even though 2 members of staff saw it. Manager said it could be for a different size! But couldn't find one.
Treated like dirt.
Think I will just shop in ASDA from now on.

Thank god for that I was having palpitations I love this site, fortunately ( or unfortunately) I spent the whole day shopping and wrapping so missed the maintainance time!

Got myself 2 copies of pro evo 6 for the psp. Manager refused refund due to the small print on the poster expires 17/12. Now she won’t even give me a normal refund due to the unlicensed copying rule. Now I’m stuck with £60 worth of stuff I don’t want. I rang HO but they side with the store. I’ll lose money if I sell them on eBay so will only do this as a last resort.
I tried telling her that it was illegal to display 2 prices but she insisted Tesco were doing nothing wrong due to the expiry date. I have a photocopy of the offending poster which I can post on here or email to HO if necessary. Other posters had the prices blacked out. Probably to prevent other shoppers from being given misleading price indications.
Is there anything else I can do to get my money back either with the store or HO?

In a previous thread someone mentioned the Budweiser might be an R+R opportunity. Unfortunately it is now in the 2 for £16 and has replaced Kronenbourg...

The 2 for £16 offer has changed - Budweiser is now included and Kronenbourg has been removed from the offer. This might be why someone got Budweiser R+R'd yesterday.

It was quite amusing because I got two packs of Kronenbourg today and the manager came over to try and protest that they weren't included in the offer anymore. Unfortunately for him the crate of beer with the poster on it which stated that Kronenbourg WAS on the offer was right next to CS desk right behind him. When I pointed over his shoulder then he said "oh that's an old offer" - unfortunately the poster also had the date of expiry as 3/1/07 - he left defeated, mumbling to the CS lady to give me a refund - only one store of 5 I've visited had this poster though.

Firstly, are the games sealed?

Secondly, when did you try and get the normal refund? Was this immediately after you were unsuccesful with the r&r? i.e. did you stay in the store, or leave, go home etc and come back some time later?

Thirdly, as long as your receipt hasn't been marked just take them back to another store for a normal refund.

They are not sealed.
I was offered a normal refund straight away but called HO the next day as it was after hours.
This violated the offer of a normal refund.
