Your use of vulgar words is clearly an indication you are so very poorly educated, You clearly feel the need to attack someone on a personal level just because R+R is going to be no more through partly due to your own doing:beer:Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -
Thanks for your post TE - very informative... I am now going to enter the shop to pose as a Trading standards officer and borrow a scanner me'thinks....
You also seem quite worried about the impact our campaign might have - if you aren't a senior member of staff at Tesco I really don't understand your loyalty to a company which is now appearing to be replacing their store staff with cheaper migrant workers - that really is low even for Tesco...
The double the difference policy (if it does come in) still brings great rewards...Homebase had this policy in place once and I went into the store to buy a Jigsaw priced at £20 - the till scanned it at £50 and they had to refund me double the difference - I left the store with £40 cash plus a free jigsaw - I told my brother and he told his friends and we all got £40 and a free jigsaw. The manager took the signs down that same day and got very annoyed - the policy was cancelled by head office the next week. It's one thing to give someone the product and a refund but it is a whole different thing when the store have to give HARD cash over as well as the product...
I wouldn't be too excited about your new policy as if we do find a big difference I for one will be buying at least 5 of the item (or as many as the daft bulk buy rule allows and DEMANDING double the difference back - I wouldn't always pick the CD's and DVD's that I get from R+Ring but I'll have cash everytime - thanks very much!Tesco is my second home:j0 -

Just to comment on the change of policy that is coming into force in January don't you all realise what you've all done?? Prior to this website you were all happily getting your r+r's and going along minding your own business, then suddenly this website appears mis-prices are posted left, right and centre (Most of them duplicates) and suddenly Tesco become aware of serial 'r+r'ers', It becomes more difficult for you to obtain an r+r due to this website putting the refund issue high on our agenda's, Staff who use this forum complain to Tesco H/O regarding the way the are spoken to on here, The (sometimes) personal information written here which could identify a member of staff and voila the policy is going to be changed.
Regardless of what you think of Tesco - I know many of you believe that because they have (supposedly) been overcharging customers for years that they deserve to get hit hard by r+r but by posting mis-prices on here has undoubtable been the biggest factor in having the policy changed to 'Double the difference', You now only have yourselves to blame for losing something which most of you take so seriously.
Yes indeed you can all complain and highlight overcharges to TS - They will be expecting this as they will be aware the policy is changing and they are also aware that the mis-price thread has been viewed by over half a million people who will be disgruntled at losing out on such a generous overcharge policy. The new policy will bring Tesco into line with other retailers and whilst TS may investigate some of the mis-pricing error's there is also the fact that Tesco can show they are trying to combat the issue and if they get it wrong are 'rewarding' the customer with a 'double the difference' goodwill gesture. Something else in Tesco's favour is the fact we ENCOURAGE TS into our stores - I know (and have worked at) several stores that allow weekly visits - We supply them with a PDA and they scan random SELs to ensure the prices displayed are correct, They will allow for SOME human error and are usually happy aslong as around 98% of the prices displayed are correct (And in stores where thousands of lines are stocked this can be quite easily achieved)
Anyway the above is just my point of view on the subject - Agree or disagree im not bothered but please always remember this website had a large part to play in the downfall of something that many of you seem to cherish so much - R+R!
thank you for your information- does this mean they will give us back the 'double differences' when an overcharged is taken place from JAN, and is this confirmed? sorry im not a regular on here.
anyways my view to this change is that this will obviously stopped us rnring from store to store, in a way abusing their policy when buying bulk items which we dont very much needed. i believe it is really getting out of control and the only solution to deal with this is to cancel the rnr policy. please remember the amount of people that dont even post on here but only read and rnr with the misprices.
anyways, i think we have all had our fair share, and of course there would be consequences. we cant just expect tesco to rnr us for the rest of our life, (i got to admit i will miss it though!)
the above is just my personal opinion, so rnr while u can everyone!!!0 -

TE if the staff did their jobs right in the first place there would be nothing to r+r therefore no problem.
What i would like to know is how is the change in the policy going to encourage the staff to do a better job when there is now less to loose?0 -
