  • Still trying to get my 1st R & R. Unfortunately my local store seems to be completely on the ball with meat prices now which wasn't the case in the past as MANY TIMES (BEFORE READING THIS THREAD) I used to pick up the meat which was lowest priced & avoid the higher priced items like the plague. 1st R & R outing & all the meat had been restickered - guess someone got there before me :-(

Question - have tried a few BOGOF offers - mixing items to get the BOGOF & hoping the BOGOF wouldn't come off. They didn't a few times BUT the cs. has always come back with another of the same items & said it's NOT mix & match you have to buy 2 identical products to get the discount - even though the SEL does not say buy 2 identical items.

I've always been too chicken & taken the exchange therefore just getting a refund of the one item overcharged.

Is the cs on the ball or trying it on? I've raised my profile at local store now & still got no R & R.

DVDs & books most stickers are off. Whenever I see a mistake on here it seems the shelves are empty of that particular item. Don't know whether I'm being beaten to it or they are really on the ball?

have you try different store? i try to avoid doing it in my local one, there are another 5 tesco within 20miles radius with me, usually i go to there and RNR....

  • Hey - I saw a band wagon just go by ...............................
  • You'll be pleased to hear just a few more posts from me, I have no use for this site anymore.

Just to comment on the change of policy that is coming into force in January don't you all realise what you've all done?? Prior to this website you were all happily getting your r+r's and going along minding your own business, then suddenly this website appears mis-prices are posted left, right and centre (Most of them duplicates) and suddenly Tesco become aware of serial 'r+r'ers', It becomes more difficult for you to obtain an r+r due to this website putting the refund issue high on our agenda's, Staff who use this forum complain to Tesco H/O regarding the way the are spoken to on here, The (sometimes) personal information written here which could identify a member of staff and voila the policy is going to be changed.

Regardless of what you think of Tesco - I know many of you believe that because they have (supposedly) been overcharging customers for years that they deserve to get hit hard by r+r but by posting mis-prices on here has undoubtable been the biggest factor in having the policy changed to 'Double the difference', You now only have yourselves to blame for losing something which most of you take so seriously.

Yes indeed you can all complain and highlight overcharges to TS - They will be expecting this as they will be aware the policy is changing and they are also aware that the mis-price thread has been viewed by over half a million people who will be disgruntled at losing out on such a generous overcharge policy. The new policy will bring Tesco into line with other retailers and whilst TS may investigate some of the mis-pricing error's there is also the fact that Tesco can show they are trying to combat the issue and if they get it wrong are 'rewarding' the customer with a 'double the difference' goodwill gesture. Something else in Tesco's favour is the fact we ENCOURAGE TS into our stores - I know (and have worked at) several stores that allow weekly visits - We supply them with a PDA and they scan random SELs to ensure the prices displayed are correct, They will allow for SOME human error and are usually happy aslong as around 98% of the prices displayed are correct (And in stores where thousands of lines are stocked this can be quite easily achieved)

Anyway the above is just my point of view on the subject - Agree or disagree im not bothered but please always remember this website had a large part to play in the downfall of something that many of you seem to cherish so much - R+R!

Yep, its A4 but the list at the top has Kronenburg 1664 at the top the new ones do not. Both offers are still in date, I believe this on is until Jan and the new ones are until end of Dec.

I mixed a Grolsh with a Kronenburg so you can pick anyother bear/smirnoff ice/cider that is listed on the offer with it if you don't want 2 of the Kronies.

This is confusing me a little as people are still getting the beer on the this offer witht he Krone:confused:

I say im a little confused as when i went into a store today i picked up 1x case Krone and 1 Case Becks and the discount triggered .

Lookin at the receipt tho it looks like it could be a instore change as the multibuy is shown differntly not with a decription just a saving .

i had 2 cases just Krone last night and that was fine full RnR but like i say on mixing them today at just before 2pm discount triggered .
Still if it was just a instore change and the deal is still messed up pllz feel free to le me know

    Hope this is helpful

Yup, once the odd trolls arrived, the usual gobby ones antagonising everyone and Tesco-ites winding up the regulars it was down hill from there.

Never mind, plenty more more sites to choose from.

Well if they are getting rid of it, I made sure I took full advantage today!
enough lager to last till next year, all my xbox games paid with at a lovely shop that "trades in" with all the free mispriced games I've had in the past few months.
Took back and exchanged enough dvd's to get everyone in the family the top titles for Christmas.
Used all my CC deal vouchers (most earnt from wombling up the rubbish) in MFI.
Filled my freezer, and my Mother's, and do you know what, tomorrow, I'll be back at the stores, getting as bloody much as I can!
