  • Just debating what time i should go back up to tesco to get my Indiana Jones boxset refund  bought it with the £29. xx big red sticker on it, cashier fumbled and fumbled with the plastic case to get it off looking at the sticker about 6 times AND still didnt notice it then went through at £44. xx
I only bought milk with it as that was all I went in for (tesco is my nearest shop)
DIDNT want to go to cs as everybody on there have been witches to me and am hoping that i can go back later (24 hour shop) and get a different cs..:o
    wish me luck

Dude, "console" yourself (excuse the pun) with Burnout legends on the PSP stickered at £19.94 I was grossly overcharged by a whole 5 pence and ended up paying £19.99!

Shame theres no online play with it though!
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

Most CSD desks in 24 hour stores are not open all night - Depending on the store they can close at either 10pm or Midnight.

Yup it was. Does that matter?

Its upto the individual i guess - I would not R+R a product and then allow a refund of it too.

  • Well my son wanted the Ps2 Star Wars Lego so thought I would have a try.
SEL of £24.97. Scanned it at the self scan checkout and scanned £27.97. This till was right opposite custoner services and felt I was being watched.
Disappeared for a while before returning to Customer Services. Very surly youth left me standing whilst he went off to the ailse then returned with SEL and confirmed I was correct. Whilst in the middle a work aquaintance saw me and came over to chat. Surly stated Tesco policy and took my card for a refund. Aquantice gob smacked at 'my good fortune' and I wasnt going to tell her that it was pre planned!

    Just a few questions.
I bought quite a bit of other shopping(needed) do people think this is helpful.
Are there any other scanners in Tesco's- could not see- or is it the self scan checkout people use.

    You legally have to :D

I don't have to do anything - I just say im unable to authorise it and send them in the direction of H/O so they can explain they got overcharged on a product, got an R+R and now want to return the product and recieve a refund - One of the best ways for H/O to capture a customers details

    I don't think that's right ;)

No retailer HAS to refund you for any product, unless of course the product is faulty.

    Lol

Thats why some give false details, like when tesco dudes refuse to give their names when you wish to report them! :D:o

Can you legally not refund a product ? Say it was faulty? That would make tesco break the law - AGAIN :rotfl:

Im sure H/O will authorise it but again its better to send them on their way so that H/O can ask for all the relevent details, reciept number, clubcard etc, before authorising it.

I always tell customers my first name if they are unable to read my name badge:confused:
