mich_city wrote:alas, they scan at the price shown.. no money off bonanza as with those in nov's issue and the fabby uni-ball voucher :-(
Try Somerfields current magazine. The coupons scan at the face value - but they are good ones ! Husband was delighted with the whisky that they actually paid me to take away yesterday.
Best wishes to everyone (including Tesco Staff) - you've all been a great help to my finances. I've been a bit of a snob in the past and looked down my nose at cheap food and drink - I didn't know what I was missing and have to agree now that there is nothing wrong with cheap beer, cheap wine, cheap champagne, cheap meat, cheap chocolates and cheap biscuits washed down with cheap coffee. And the dirty clothes wash well in cheap detergent !ELITE 5:2

If you read both Spa2k's (definately) and Constantine's(I seem to remember) comments about TE....then i think you can see they have both hinted at that.
Out of all the comments been made Gina.........thats a funny one to pick on.......are you one of TE's fellow employees. if not why reply to something that has no bearing on anything but Tesco Employees.
Thats the funniest post I have read on here for ages.. nope Leadhead.. tho I do go into Tesco a lot.. and quite simply.. I picked up on it as I dont make judgements on someones employment... and do wonder why others would..I am sure thats what my post says
Catch.. X.. its Christmas..
whoops a few moments later.. edited.. well added actually... I work with homeless families.. its no secret.. I have mentioned it before.0 -

The clipboard gives it away, she was obviously undertaking qualitative market research to profile what product category customers would best like refunds on!:rotfl:
Try one of these answers next time:-
"It's obviously something you and your colleagues don't look for"
OR
"No, I'm actually looking for X Box360's, PSP's and TV's but DVD's are better than going home empty handed!"
OR
"I'm actually undertaking a stint of consumer correction confinement. As this is purely voluntary and unpaid, for my mere commission of a DVD (or 2) I get to highlight everyday retail 'mishaps' to your company's attention for them to potentially correct. Imagine how many thousands you'd have to pay a retail consultancy for this service."One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.0 -
Fully grasped Leadhead..
and still giggling at how you have to insult to press your point home..
bless you.0 -
I hate it when interesting looking posts get deleted.

Well Tesco have their online "Jan price blitz" on now. On their entertainment MAIN PAGE - American Pie 1-3 box set £8.97 - you click on it and it's £14.97! Need for speed most wanted for DS - main page says £12.97 you click on it and what a surprise £13.97.....Tesco = useless one day they will get their act together....The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)0

Believe me...............it wasn't interestingCouponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

I don't see Gina of Course!'s posts as Trollish. And his/her posts have not been before. I just see a (fairly) old post being quoted and an opinion being offered.
I did post about it at the time...along the same lines tbh. My posts represent me, not anyone else's.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
