Or my preffered option, trade in at game shop against DS game formy kids BUT if I do this, what response do you get from the staff? The games are clearly brnded new and still sellophane wrapped. Imagine that they'll think I've stolen them!
What encounters have you had on this, and where's best to go?
Thanks
Have exchanged for DS games in WHSmiths saying the original item was an unwanted gift.I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

Sell on ebay
Pass to friend (cannot think of any who'd use them though)

I traded a few PSP games at CEX a while ago - they didn't bat an eyelid that I was trading 2 sealed games that were the same title.
They did unwrap them though to check that the games were in there

You could always take them back to Tesco after Xmas and say they were unwanted pressies. They wont give you your money back without the receipt but they may let you swap them or give you a credit note!the eyes move, the mouth opens, but Mr Brain has long since departed0 -

Anyone swapped the Indiana Jones trilogy, do you think they'd swap it after Xmas.0 -
MORPH3US wrote:Hi folks,
Got a dilemma,
GF brought me a suit for Christmas on 24th November.
She went to wrap it today and noticed on the sleeve of the £50 jacket that it was marked down to £35 even though we paid £50.
Went back to the store and the woman said that "because it was over 28 days we could only get the difference back".
I'm sure this is rubbish, but can I still get a fell R&R?
Should I ring their central customer services and get them to deal with it? What would CS likely do?
Cheers

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

There are certain posters on this thread that are considered by some to be "trolls". For those that are annoyed, aggrevated or bored by the trolls and cannot resist the temptation of replying to them there is a simple solution.
At the top of the page is an option called UserCP. Click this option and you will get to your control panel. On the left hand side is an option "Buddy/Ignore List". Select this option and boxes appear whereby you can add the name of any user to either a buddy list or to an ignore list. Add the name of the person to your ignore list and click on update and hey presto you will no longer see any posts made by the so called trolls.
