BOGOF is for the Milk chocolate variety of After Eights, 3 for £5 is for the standard ones - All clearly stated on the POS

    Thankyou for your help.

Just one thing the shelve only had the standard ones ;) and what with me rushing about xmas shopping i didn't really have time to check the POS stating milk chocolate or standard.

  • Got r&r on 2 boxes of kronenberg yesterday. CS wanted to give the difference until I explained the refund policy. She refunded as a 'goodwill' gesture apparently. :)

Yes it made me titter when they suggested you were Vendetta

Vendetta witty and good looking- umm not sure about, dark and mysterious I would say.
  • I'm still an r&r virgin, after my big Christmas shop in the early hours of this morning. I couldnt work out the 'deal' on the beer and couldnt see any wrongly priced meat, but then there was a lot of stuff either not there or in the wrong places (not to mention empty boxes all over the floor and trucks of stock in the way of the shelves).

I will do it one day!
  • do not now if this is the righr site but any way it makes a good read

    :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

found this on the " VERY LITTLE HELPS SITE "

I am a manager for Tesco. Firstly, I just want to make one point, no one is forced to shop at Tesco, if you have so much complaint about it, simply don't shop there. How boring life must be to spend time moaning about a supermarket! I have no complaint about my company, and the only bad treatment I have ever received is at the hands of customers including acts of unjustified aggression and threats of assault If any of you had the slightest idea about the work and effort that goes into providing the service to the customer at Tesco then you may think twice about the comments posted on this site. I just think that everyone is jealous of Tesco's position and no one likes to see anything successful. Why don't we celebrate a great British company.

My second point is about all these comments and dedicated websites on Tesco mispricing. Yes I admit on occasion there will be some pricing errors, either human error where a member of staff misses changing a label over or a computer error centrally. However, there are systems in place and a dedicated department to make sure prices are correct. Tesco is not intentionally over charging customers. Concerning the over charging policy, this is provided for as a gesture of good-will as way of apology for the inconvenience of being overcharged. Although it is VERY apparent that many "customers" are making a career out of this generous policy by intentionally purchasing high value products they believe will scan incorrectly. It is under these circumstances a refund may be refused by management and the "customer" banned.

Furthermore, it is well known that some criminals will intentionally swap labels around and even attempt to print their own labels to make out they have been overcharged. So if "customers" request refunds under suspicious circumstances then YES refunds should not be given out and these people banned from store.

Tesco-Complaint response in the comments section...:T

seems to me they are cracking onto this, shame though i will still keep on trying to r+r:D :D :j

  • Currently in dispute with a Tesco and just wondered if anyone could give me some advice

On the 1st of December during the moet overcharge i purchased 6 bottles, blatant overcharge despite the manager and her minions disappearing off several chats lasting 5-10 minutes i eventually got my full refund or so i thought. however i pointed out to the CSA that she had ballsed it up and debited my card a second time instead of crediting, she then said she had overridden the payment so i pointed out that i was still owed a refund for the original overcharge, which she then did with some persuasion from me.

Being a bit suspicious I asked for copies of all the reciepts for my records this she refused saying due to the errors she would need all of them, i insisted that i was entitled to them however she still said no and given the length of time that had passed i agreed only if she would let me take photos of the receipts which she did.

I thought something was fishy so called my card company when i got back to work but they said no credit payments would show for a few days and that i should call back then or wait for my statement, which is did.

The statement arrived this week and showed two debits of 95.xx each and only one credit of 131.xx (i presume this refund obviously forgot to subtract the 25% off 6 bottles) so i am still £65. out of pocket.

I called the store and spoke to the manager who said she would call me back later in the day having given her the details from the bottom of the receipt.

The next day she called and explained that she agreed there had been a mix up, however she had reviewed the cctv footage and apparently five minutes before i made my purchase someone was seen "tampering" with the SEL and that i had also done the same thing in another store earlier that day (this was true well the R&R bit not the label tampering - although i used seperate cards - are they allowed to swap info on customers like this?) and would not be refunding me because of this and said if i wished to take it any further i should call head office, which i did, they told me to discuss it with her and if she said no then i was to ask for her regional manager.

So i called her and she refused to give me the name or number of the regional manager saying she wasnt allowed and that she had nothing further to say and would not be discussing this matter further......

thats how it stands at the minute, what do people think?

Would my credit card company be able to do anything?
