I'll ask you something, that you haven't answered.

Should he have included the internet booster or not.

You are probably right I will try that first, T-Mobile have been easier to deal so far, it's a big ask but you never know.

If you had asked for it yes. However, most people wouldn't add on a data bolt on for this model of phone unless otherwise requested.

And I wasn't asking about data CHARGES, I was asking about a data allowance. Your contract should state "300m, 300txt, unlimited *insert name of free booster here*". What does it say?

This could be a mistake on the salesmans end. Have you gone back to the store? He could have selected the wrong booster on the system and not caught it.
Have I helped? Feel free to click the 'Thanks' button. I like to feel useful (and smug). ;)

Well this is the problem, the contract says nothing about data at all, no limits or charges mentioned, you can see why I thought it was part of my monthly contract.

You also need to understand I knew nothing about boosters, I had been on pay as you go since before 3G was common place, so I didn't know to ask for an internet booster as I had never heard of such a thing.

Surely knowing my intended use for the phone an internet booster is the right booster to advise.

CPW support contacted the branch as it is in London and I live 300 miles away, they say I din't ask about data charges and that seems to validate this for them but I really disagree and feel mis-informed by what I thought were experts.

Last month I decided to ditch my pay as you go mobile for a contract and new phone after nearly 4-5 years of getting by on a simple pay as you go.

I don't make many calls but needed to make a few more per month because of spending more time away from my landline, I thought a contract would save me money
So, you never used the Internet before and came to CPW to cut the cost of the calls.
He knew full well I intended it for internet use and my last bill clearly shows (with 20 mins of phone calls) a local booster is no use to me.
It's your word against their. I believe you, but why will the judge? Your bill proves not only small number of calls. I proves zero usage of Internet as well.

Why would a judge or anyone else believe I willingly chose to not include the internet booster and opt for huge data charges on device such as this.
Because in fact you did not chose anything. The salesman made the choice and you have not checked if it was the correct one.

I've answered that 3 times, it doesn't mention data charges!
    Does it mention calls charges?

What it definitely mentions is what is included. If you don't see internet included, it's naive to assume that it is free.

Well T-mobile rang me straight back from an e-mail an immediately got the issue without repeated explanation and offered a rebate of nearly half the charges.

This can at least back me up going to CPW for the other half, thanks for the (useful) advice!
