and they could not sell it, or rent it....
Just as an aside, I would guess that the property linked to in my #16 was let out for well over £3,000 a month.0 -

They do if you ring up the media and tell them!0 -
Maybe it depends on the area... a high profile murder in a rented house I know of caused NO problems with getting tenants in!*Insert interesting words here*0

I didn't get that at all, this is simply someone in a difficult situation needing advice. For all we know she could need this rental money to live - is she supposed to maintain a respectful silence (for someone who she did not, in fairness, even know) while bills pile up and her own situation crumbles?
The whole point of this board is that it is a money-related forum. Who knows, she could be talking about the emotional fallout of this elsewhere in more appropriate places, but frankly when the tenant is a stranger, horrible though it is to the OP it COULD be no different from reading about, and being saddened by a murder on the news. However this does unfortunately affect her in more practical ways too.
Comments like yours make people feel very bad about seeking important advice in sensitive situations, which is not fair.0
