It doesn't necessarily encourage loyalty, I just take advantage of the fact, my shopping bill will be less this week.
On another topic, anyone else noticed how BOGOFs are being replaced by "Buy 3 for price of 2".
Went to Sainsbury's today, £12 off £60 shop, so both Lidl and Tesco lost out this week. Took calculator but it switched off a couple of times, but fortunately I'd remembered how much total was to nearest pound, so able to start again fairly accurately.
Also noticed "Buy 4 for price of 3", it's getting worse! If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Hmm, they missed a week last week so they've given me a £9 voucher today! There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0

Probably for being ceaselessly obnoxious.
I noticed him(?) being rude to someone a couple of days back and checked his posting history. He made a habit of being needlessly rude and unpleasant to people.
Presumably, forum support looked at his posts and thought much the same.
Can't say I'm sorry he's gone. Shame about Freddie_Snowbits, though - I didn't always agree with what he said but he could be a bit of a laugh. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
I wish they would give me money! Even the till splits I get ( few and far between) are rubbish. I think I must actually spend too much money in tescos and so they don't botherweight loss target 23lbs/49lb0

Mr. T. tends to send some £ off min. spend vouchers with clubcard points mailer or spit them out at the checkout if I am an irregular visitor.
This year they have sent me extra via a store refit reopening and 5 x £3 and 1 x £4 altogether in a separate mailing.
Once the vouchers stop I'll prob go back to Morrisons as nearer unless any super bargains making it worth while.0 -

I get them as i stopped shopping there a few years back. i use them for the saving then go back to sainsburys for the main shop.
We get the same in reverse, discount vouchers for Sainsburys where we do most of our shopping at Tesco. We'll shop in Sainsbury for a few weeks to use up the vouchers, then it's back to Tesco just up the road until the next Sainsbury vouchers turn up.
We did get a till spit for £5 off a £50 spend at Tesco last week when hubby did a small top-up shop midweek. Got to decide whether this week we're using a £10 off £50 spend at Sainsbury or £5 off a £50 at Tesco which is closer. If you are using credit card and/or loyalty card, their computer system is tracking your purchases and trying to work out which vouchers to send you which will encourage you to spend more.
If you suddenly stop shopping there, you may find an even better deal show up on your door mat, begging for you to shop there again.0
