Hi guys
For the people that went last night to the Edinburgh gig, what sort of tickets did you get? where abouts were you? how near the stage etc?
I've got tickets waiting for me in Manchester but my OH has just been hit with a speeding fine  and we're (well I say we, it's him really) is wondering if we can afford to go despite free tickets!! Maybe if he hears we've the possibility of getting quite near he might be more keen lol0 -
we were given seated tickets but were fab seats, at the side of the stage. just a teeny warning though, he has his knee in a cast so he couldnt really move about the stage as much as he usually would have and didnt use the 'extended' part of the stage either. he did walk out to each of the ends once during the show. our friends bought tickets and were so disappointed with thier seats as they were right at the back of the stadium.
was a fab show though!!0 -
I won tickets to go last night and it was great
!
The email said they would just be general admission tickets so I thought we would be in the standing area (which was packed). When we got the tickets they were seated and really close to the stage - excellent view! Hopefully you get the same.
The seats around us were almost all empty too so I dont think many people that won actually went.0 -
oh heck! poor old Jon! I heard that he strained something in Finland

Sounds like you had a great night! I've seen them everytime they've toured for 10 years now! they are amazing!! I just hope that OH agrees to go.0 -
We won rickets and went last night...well worth our 400 mile round-trip from Warrington.
I'd echo what other posters have said...great seats, near the front, at the side of the stage, and an awesome show!
Though there was a hic-cup with our's and a couple of other winner's tickets (the seats had been allocated twice) but this was soon sorted out.
Have a great evening!
