May I ask why you are asking? Do you not want it anymore? If so, why? They may offer store credit (which is beyond their responsibilities). Who is the retailer?
There's been a number of similar 'testing' questions on MSE...I'm beginning to wonder why?0 -
While you probably don't have a leg to stand on legally, they should give you the difference if they want to see you again!
Ive spent a lot of money in that shop and have recommended a lot of customers to them - 'sympathising with my situation' - is not something I wanted to hear off them....0 -
Not testing at all. And me asking that question led to an important fact which was previously undisclosed - namely that the OP was told that the price would rise and has since discovered this was not true and had in fact been reduced. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Don't worry about gordi. He's not had his medication this evening. As I said, there is a case for mis-selling but it is notoriously difficult to prove without anything in writing. My gut instinct is that you will have to rely on the goodwill of the company. I'd suggest sending a non-emotional factual email to their head office with your concerns and disappointments and ask for a refund of the difference. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Thanks for the replies...... I appreciate you all taking the time to do so.
I will contact them tomorrow - and see what can be done..... if anything

Best advice. Be polite, stick to the facts, don't get emotional, and know what you want in advance. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

If you're a regular customer, then if they've got any business sense, they'll give you the difference in price!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
