jonny do you have a power problem?

NO I DONT CHECK MY BANK AND NEVER HAVE DONE AND IVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBS BEFORE SO NEVER THOUGHT ID NEED TO!!!!! BUT THATS NOT THE POINT!!! THE POINT IS THE £35 FINE, SOME OF YOU MAY THINK £35 IS NOTHING BUT i DONT I THINK ITS A FORTUNE AND DISGUSTING

That is my point just running through your direct debits and you wouldn't be out £35. It only takes a couple of minutes and saves problems like this.

Incidently I don't have power problems, I do have a problem with sarcastic answers. And since I don't want my council tax to go up because the council has to pay for chasing the debts.

These council tax courts set up scam courts, they are just a room hired by the council inside the court building by council staff complete with bogus looking magistrates, most people fall straight for it.
The real magistrates may deal with your liability order at another time, however if you make an agreement with the council staff "pretending to be a court" in the court room hired out by the council.
Why do you have to pay a "court charge" when you have not been to a court, you have in fact attended a private room to discus your bill that just happened to be inside the court, it might have well been in the tea cupboard at the sports centre.
On magistrates, the reason you ask them to identify themselves is because at the start of any court hearing, the magistrates will identify themselves to you as well as the Clark of the court.
These "fake" council tax courts are usually nothing more than a spare court room set up by council staff to scare unsuspecting members of the public to death, it is a sham and it has been exposed as such on several occasions.
Any liability order will usually have been issued in your absence and most likely before they opened court building doors.
Usually The only time you will see a real panel of magistrates is when you dont pay the liability order and they send you to jail.
PS on why I abused the council staff, I did not , they were sitting in a court room under the crest of arms of her Majesty the queens court, it is high treason to sit beneath hear unless you are sitting under oath to the queen.

You seem to waste all day just re-hashing the same rubbish
I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.
