As several people have suggsted get people there to help the owner by supporting her. Don't let anyone likely to have a row go though - just calm people preferably tall well built people.

This girl started living in the flat, didn't return to Uni, went onto benefit. Didn't pay. Threatened court, as she was Scottish, the flat is in England.0

The L's nationality is irrelevant - the law that applies is that of the country in which the property stands. Flat in Eng = English jurisdiction
Scottish law does give lodgers greater protection/rights and the lodger may have been ignorant of the set-up in England.0 -

He's clearly a serial W*nker and has obviously done this before. Round up some friends go around and TELL him to get his things and leave there and then either via the window or door it's his choice.
Do not be intimidated by him that's what is allowing this situation to continue.
Kick him out change the locks AND give his details to the police should he decide to damage the property afterwards so they know who to look for.
Tell me where you live and i'll come round myself and do it!

Its highly unlikely that a weed smoker would even worry about a CCJ, plus many people have CCJ's or impaired credit these days, if he smoking weed in the house and acting like a !!!! then a CCJ isnt important, he prob just laugh at the fact to be completely honest...and make things a whole lot worse for yourself in the process. OP needs to demonstrate "reasonableness", even if L does not seem to be doing so.
They may not initially "give a s***e" about being hit with a CCJ over the non payment of rent due but they almost certainly will do when they find it impacts on their ability to get somewhere new to live or to obtain credit.0 -
