Order placed 9th Dec, Order put through a second time by Adams 19th Dec, minus 2 much wanted items. I emailed to cancel. No response. Received email to say order would arrive before christmas. Charged £50 to debit card.
No parcel before christmas, no parcel after christmas. Adams have no idea where despatched goods are, but did however today refund the money to my card.
Good job I replaced the items before christmas....:starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin0 -
Quick update... Adams refunded the money on the 28th Dec. Parcel had been sent Royal Mail Special Delivery. Man at Adams grumbled at the appalling service they had received.
30th Dec PARCEL ARRIVED!!! (It had been sent on 19th...):starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin0 -

Not sure but can you return it instore?? Most internet places with sores allow you to do this (Next, M & S, Debenhams etc).
Hope that helps!0 -

If you ordered some time ago, then just contact them asap to cancel the order and say it took too long to come and you don't want it now.
Or just accept delivery and then contact them to say that if they don't send you a prepaid sticker for returns, or provide an e mail confirming the postage will be refunded, you will take the matter further.
That's what my friend did anyway and although she did have to pay to return the items, she did get it refunded.

I've just received an email too saying goods have been despatched. This is the stuff I thought was out of stock and wouldn't receive.
I've just noticed that they've charged me full price for an item I ordered with 50% off! So that now means more hassle having to get hold of Adams and try and get it refunded to my card!:mad:0 -
Well I was silly enough not to read that they you have to pay to return items and you cant return instore! I tried it anyway but they said no so im lumbered with stuff I dont want. Yes, I will ring them - but I know that if you ordered and it was out of stock before then it will be winging its way to you now if its back in stock!!!!!!!!!!!!0

OMG... I just checked my adams account after reading this thread and they have also put the items missing from my original order through as an order and have charged me full price for one item... I don't need any of the items as they were all xmas presents and I bought replacements for them...0

I also got an e-mail today to say that my pre x-mas order had been dispatched. I noticed that I had been charged full price for all off my items. I gave them a call and they said they are aware of the problem, they're honouring the previous prices and all accounts will be refunded with the difference within the next few days!0
