Lost friend due to lending money

Although interest rates have been stable and low over the last 2 yrs you could have got 4% a year, so ask the friend for an extra £40 to cover that.0

My view is never lend money to anyone, but if you do it needs to be a sum that you dont mind losing and a friend that you dont mind losing. Lending money to friends has to be the biggest cause of friendship break downs ever.0
