I think you'll find that most of us have just abandoned this thread. You obviously don't need our help so we figured you can fend for yourselves. :p

That just makes no sense. How are you reading and posting if you've abandoned the thread?

And no, I don't need your help, or that of any of your mates. If I have a query i know who to ask and it aint any of your little gang.

You lot should start another thread where you can just !!!!! and moan to each other without having to bring darkness upon the nice people here.

And i LOVE that 'about to spit his dummy out' smiley. Suits you ;)

as I remember correctly the posters snapping at DPJames related to his referring to clients with very simple clues that were as effectively the same as using their true names.

Yup, very true. Abuse received in bucket fulls and lesson learned. A couple of PM's from nice people though and problem was rectified.

There's just no excusing the ridicule and abuse though, especially to a newbie just finding their way. There's no need for it. Hiding behind a keyboard doesn't give you right to be a !!!! to people.

(dazza's another of the nice one's on here tania by the way.)

Anyway, I've got more alerts to checkout and not contribute to ;)

Your arrogance quite honestly astounds me. Talk about making this an unfriendly place to be!

I'll point you back to boredupnorth's post "no one person has all the answers" ... but I can think about specific queries about one company on page 1 that I'd probably ask Lil_Me before anyone else on the thread (as I know she's done a lot of work for them), similarly Jen on the previous page could answer a lot of queries about a different area of mystery shopping that not a lot of people on this thread could.

Yo say that you don't need their help, but on the previous page you've pointed someone in the direction of the thread that they put together.

    You still here?

    You still here?

L'il me was here long before you, she is a very valued member of this thread, and she will still be here long after you've given up mystery shopping because you realise it can be hard work and it's not a means to a fast buck!!!

Apologise for not wording my question my better. I wasn't trying to take the mick, and the advice I have had about it being personal preference has been really valuable, - that's all I was after, just a little personal advice from those who know more than me.
Really wasn't trying to annoy anyone. Sorry :(

No need to apologise, if you re-read the thread you'll see the responses you got were along the lines of "careful you'll get slapped down asking questions like that" as opposed to actually being slapped down, I think a couple of posters have got a grudge for some reason.

Aww man, you're comparing me to a troll. That really hurts my feelings and makes me want to admit that you're right and it's cool to make fun at newbies.

Hey newbies, stop asking the same stupid questions, we're sick of it. Go and read the 100,000 posts first before you ask your pathetic questions. We've been here for ages so we rule!!

    Silly, silly bullies.
  • L'il me, you might find this link useful, I've just used it and the silence is bliss!!!

I thought it was just me who believed a certain sombody only popped up during arguments and nothing else. Especially after the other weeks attack.

I feel better now. Thanks Tractorgirl :T
