Same here Mimi, I have just picked up a fair few. Hope nothing has changed, these really are nice easy jobs.

Glad to see all the opticians in my area on RE have not been taken..the previous company couldn't shift them for a higher fee so doubt very much that they will for that fee. :rotfl:

Might be the time frame? I'm not doing evening visits. If they were daytime ones I would pick the whole lot up.

Some legend near me keeps picking and dropping the opticians on RE. LOL.

[QUOTE PS. Has something changed with the express stores on TNS? Most of them in my area are still available. Normally these all go in 20 seconds flat!!!

I had an email frome RE asking me to do one of these jobs so I gave an honest reply. Got an email back asking what fee I would consider reasonable so I told them, reminding them that on a good day one of these jobs plus travel and report take me 2 hours.

The reply was that the fees are set by the client and cnt be altered until they become urgent, to which I replied that they could ask me again when they're urgent and I'll be happy to do for the fee I quoted.

I did point out that the vast majority in my area were not taken so clearly I wasn't the only one with misgivings ;)

What I find a pain is that the things you have to buy are always big and you have to carry it round with you for an hour while you do other jobs.
yep fell into this trap the other day had to take the shredder for a coffee.

Some pre planning on the stock checker website with the ABAi Cats is def. required. As already mentioned some of them items are huge!

It's also not uncommon for the stock availability to differ. I find the timing points a complete faff and as bad as the fast food jobs TBH.

The general store job is OK as long as you have a good think about the stuff to enquire about in advance.

Lucky you, I ended up lugging mine around town, luckily I had another job for the 'sell a little bit of everything' store, so during this time I rested my arms and took advantage of a trolley in the store:rotfl:......that said it peed down with rain as soon as I left the store and had to walk to the other end of town and return the blooming thing! Normally I manage to find a small item on the list, this time they were all HUGE, plus I'm sure I should have just worn a big hat stating MSer here, as all those extra questions seem OTT.
I have to say both these jobs are a lot of work (epsecially in the bigger stores and considering the pre planning needed) for not a lot of return. I wouldn't normally take the 'sell a little bit of everything store' but it was in the same town and I had to kill that 45 minutes doing something! Used to do them regularly until they dropped the fee by 20%. Saying that I quite like the mystery shopping company concerned.

Keep up the good work peeps

i would say a lot depends on where you live and how many jobs and how many shoppers
new shoppers joining by the hour thinking its easy cash in my experience the work is deffinalty less and some of the fees are an insult
