Stories like these really make me wish we got feedback on what happens/ed as a result of our reports. I know that's not the point of MS, but it would be so glorious to know someone got a right ticking off because their poor service gave the whole establishment a low mark
Or indeed, that someone else was praised for their genuinely good service, of course

I've got a 2 for the price of 1 voucher, for Gap pizza. Just wondering if I dare use it, now it doesn't say no vouchers on the assignment. Has anyone ever ordered 2 pizzas, not sure if they allow you to order more than the one required?0

I would love to know what happened with a phone shop I did once. There was a member of staff being absolutely horrible to an elderly man who obviously didn't understand what he needed to do to transfer his old number, and she wasn't even trying to help him, she just kept rushing through hard to understand instructions and being arsey when he didn't get it. I didn't get her name because I was helped by someone else, and I don't know if they'd even care because I was MSing on behalf of a phone brand (to see what staff were saying about their brand), not the phone shop itself, so they may not have even cared. But this woman was so awful I found it really upsetting and would have left or complained if I hadn't been on the job.0 -

Hi guys,
hope you can help me. I have been made redundant (6 months ago) and I havent found a new job yet. The money from gouvernment are obvieously not enough and I was thinking of becoming a mystery shopper until I will find other job. I have a few questions I hope you can answer:
1. I know I need to registry as a self employed - does it means I am going to loose benefits?
2. I know you cannot tell me how much you earn - but can you tell me if I will get more than JSA?
3. If I will get a permanent job can I be self employed at the same time?
I think thats all questions I have at this time. If someone could answer it I would really apprieciate it
thanks, Anna0 -

1. Yes - you cannot be self employed and get JSA. You might be able to get tax credits though. If it doesn't work out you cannot go back from SE to JSA
2. In the short term - definitely less than JSA. After 6-months to a year, maybe the same. Most of us combine this with other work. Video MSers can make more, but the equipment is expensive and it's not generally recommended for beginners.
3. Yes - although you may need to get your employer's permission.
Please accept what am about to say in the spirit it's intended which is one of trying to help. I think from your writing you are maybe not a native english speaker? I realise that what you wrote is only a forum post, but the standard of english would not be good enough for several of the MS companies, which will make it harder for you.0 -
Hi Weeg,
thank you for your reply. No I am not english but I didnt know it will be a problem. Oh well I will keep looking for a job then0 -

My React account is saying paid on the 12/8/11 but no sign of the payment in my bank account.0 -
It's not the fact that you're not English that is a problem in itself, just that the MS companies are looking for the reports to have a perfect standard of written English, including correct grammar, spelling etc, which often non native speaking people can find difficult as this standard of written english is much higher than the standard required for verbal communication.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700
