for whoever does the womens clothes shop with Esa in Montrose word of warning, staff is a bit rude. When I asked a member of staff if my top looked all right the answer was ' You and I have a bit of a tummy so I would definitely go for the bigger size'! arghhhhhhh that really made my day:eek::(;) I am size 14

Could've worded it better, but could've been much much worse!

LOL I did one of these but it was video, and I came out and the woman said (tried on a coat) I asked if the colour looked good on me she said

"You aren't going to wear it with what your wearing are you?" I said no I bought a dress for it she said "Oh right, hrmph you think that coats going to hide your problem areas"

LOL I just was happy it was on video. Cheeky mare.

These are the types of visits that I would happily pay for a front row seat to watch the MOS read and view the visit.

LOL just jeans and a shirt.

But it gave me great pleasure!
  • So... Finally got the courage up to hand in my notice at work. I leave at the end of the month!

    As of 1 Sep I will be a self employed accountant/bookkeeper :j

And mystery shopper of course, couldn't give that up ;)

I have a feeling the extra money is going to come in very handy now that the main salary is gone :D

i think it is a very fine line when you ask an assistant how something looks. i used to work in principles and if i did the fitting room and someone asked how they looked, if they looked bad i was not going to tell them it looked good as thats not doing any favours. but i would never make comments as above, would usually say something along the lines of, we have another top i think would suit you better. or if it was too tight i would say it came up small and the next size might be better but would not make a comment about the size of someone thats rude!!

and that is what the companies are looking for. there is one chain where they want you to do this because they are looking to see how diplomatic the staff are.
