I think I have made a mistake accepting a GAP pizza job - can anyone confirm whether additional items can be on the same receipt? It says you can take additional guests, but I'm unsure whether their food can be on the same bill. I think I'm going to decline the visit if not - it will be so obvious if I have to. Was looking forward to it too0

I'm doing my first assignment for abai today (petrol). I've got the briefing notes, but is there any way to see the questionnaire in advance, so I know exactly what to look for?0

I've noticed they've also used an old postcode for the premises on the briefing, which changed several years ago. I hope they haven't updated the receipts with the new one either, so that the postcodes match, or they might think I've gone to the wrong place!0

Like you, I've just done of these and they are my first aba-i jobs too. Unfortunately, the questionnaire is not available to view on this occasion - the chap I spoke to on the phone said normally there's a link to the questionnaire in the briefing notes. You can see it if you go to 'Complete' but that means going to the troubling of filling in gibberish so you can access the next page. Everything you need to do/look out for is covered in the briefing notes though.0 -
SPICY CHICKEN RE: Just totally out of interest, you have to order 1 piece xx and chips. I dropped my visit cos I looked at the menu and could not see 1 piece xx and chips anywhere. Is anyone else doing this and what will they be ordering? A quarter xx and chips or a 1 whole xx and chips? (xx being the item you have to buy).0

I got confused with this the last time and phoned the contact on the list as I was going with 2 others and was told it was fine as long as one chicken item was ordered. Therefore a whole chicken could be classed as one piece. Would probably be better wording it as 'you must buy a chicken product with chips' but its RE so there is no chance of that lol!0 -

Thanks pet. You are a star. Wish I had not dropped it now. Just confused with the wording. Was not going to buy a whole xx and chips if the reimbursement didn't cover most of it.
Also, didn't they have a second questionnaire with an extra fee for this type of visit last time? I am sure I read it. Oh well. It's all good.
Got 5 visits and I am doing them all tomorrow. Woohoo. Might as well make the most of the mileage REACT are giving me. You all got loads on next week?0 -

Thanks, I've just done it. Was pretty straightforward, as they didn't want comments on every question. I found the character limit pretty tight on the final comments box though. There wasn't really room to talk about everything they wanted to know about.0 -

I hate this. I find it with Grass Roots all the time, that the 255 letters they give you to play with usually, sometimes just is not enough.
I hate the contradiction between the question asking you to write in as much detail as possible, but then in actual fact you physically can't!
I understand the importance of being concise and not rambling, but sometimes the character limits just do not allow you to give an accurate balance between detail, and conciseness (think that's a real word, but couldn't think of a better word for what I was trying to say!!):DHalf of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Now it's my turn to be stumped by the aba-i petrol visit! I have emailed the below to the email address given on the answerphone for weekend queries, but I don't trust that it'll be read today. (Names changed when posting here of course!)
Hello,
I am currently undertaking a visit for Brand X which involves visiting a Brand X station and a competitor station. I have just arrived at the second station to find it is also a Brand X station.
There is some confusion as the briefing notes emailed to me actually calls the competitor station 'Brand X Anytown'. No big deal, I thought, they have simply put them the wrong way round, so I purchased fuel at this station, then visited the next one (named first in the email) to find it is also Brand X - I assumed it was the competitor as it was a Brand Z station last time I was in the area! What should I do? Shall I purchase petrol here too?
Posting here to see if some kind person can help me out! I think I should buy petrol at this second station, but now I am worried I will not be paid at all because I purchased petrol from the supposed 'competitor' station when it was the same brand! As the rules state that fuel must not be purchased at the competitor station.
I've decided to go and buy the fuel at this second station, if need be, ill simply return to the first station later and redo it (towards the end of the timeframe so I am unlikely to see the same staff members!)0
