This one was just a general enquiry about a TV channel provider. Fairly straightforward, but they can tend to be quite pernickety in their reports.

Did I miss a trick? GR rang me about a job, after I'd already seen it online and thought the fee was rubbish. I made my excuses and said I was unavailable, should I have tried to negotiate on the fee? If they do negotiate, how much by? It would have had to be double for me to do the pain in the backside job they wanted. Counting the queue at each checkout at a large supermarket at the weekend.

You've missed a trick there - these ones are a doddle. One walk along the bank of tills speaking into your phone the number queuing. Mega quick report. I love these ones, can you tell!

Indeed pet. And you can go from 9am in the morning. I am there for 09.01 when most people are still in bed and I am in and out in like 1 minute.

I would do this job everyday if they let me. It's such a doddle compared to the other longer one at the same shop. Mind you, the other longer one used to a right pain in the bum 6 years ago, you had to go to almost every counter. Now it's only a few.

Oh... I'm gutted now. :( I still have a lot to learn about this MSing lark!

The fee still seemed really low though.

Has anybody heard from the company that can't be named recently? I have not had any job emails from then for a month or so, no email re dates for june crisp photos and mays photos are still on the site waiting to be checked. Have I just missed the emails or have they gone quiet for everybody??

I've not heard anything from them either. Not even the cinema audits that I had been getting regularly each month?!?

Me too! or later in the day when they're all in the pub or watching footie!
I walk along noting numbers etc, then walk back checking. 5 mins tops

Yep, 8:45pm when i'm on my way to work is when I go. I don't think there has ever been more than 5 checkouts open at that time it's great.

If they ask you again, politely ask if there is any additional mileage for the job and suggest an amount that you are comfortable with, if they are phoning you they are clearly desperate so there should be room for some negotiation.

I don't mind doing them at any time tbh. Went to my huge one at 12:30 last saturday. Still only took me 5 mins as they were all open haha.

I'm off to buy some TVs and washing machines today! Then home for an afternoon nap as I have tonsillitis before the cinema this evening.

I had some crisp photos rejected middle of this week (upload messup) and when I uploaded them correctly I noticed that the other batch had not been checked either. I went in again last night to check both had been accepted, so I assume they are running late this month.

I do not get many emails from them :( think they have a good core of people in my area and I only get the left overs.
