Arrived home to a big package waiting for me- a free Nuby breast pump. It's a manual one. Must go on their facebook page and thank them. Had to get DH to show me how to work it- was lazy and tired and couldn't be bothered reading instructions!

I got mine too, but I didn't bother reading the destructions, will wait until nearer the time.

How did you peeps get free breast pumps? I want one

Nuby ran a comp on their fb page about 6 weeks ago, but it is closed now. If you 'like' them on fb they often run comps.

does anyone get a like crap or pulled muscle in the bottem of thier feet? not sure if it is a prgnancy related thing but if i bend my toes upwards then i get a cramp or pulling pain on the sole of my foot

Me, cramps in my feet if I have spent too much time on them during the day, and cramps in my legs :( It blooming well hurts and it's another thing that wakes me up  Do some gentle leg and foot stretches on an evening and drink a glass of slimline tonic water before bed as it has low dose quinine in which helps reduce the cramps.

I had a bad night last night, awake every 90 minutes with pain in my hips or back  I think I had a good night the night before as I slept mainly on my back, but I read last night that you shouldn't sleep on your back as there is decreased oxygen to the placenta. So last night I went side to side and it wasn't good :(

My last free day as I am back to work tomorrow  My main reason for returning to work since my back is still bad, was so I wasn't as socially isolated as I feel at the mo, but talking to my boss yesterday it sounds as though the work he has planned for me will involve me spending lots of time on my own and not seeing my colleagues :(
  • On this day 4 years ago my contractions started but my monster wasnt due to make an appearnce until tomorrow at 22:29!

I dont want DD1 to turn 4 :o I like my little girl being . . well little lol :D

Very tired - Is anyone else having nightmares?! I have the most random dreams.

The other night vampires was chasing me, Then I had an axe murderer (OH shot him in the head) then laast night i woke up sobbing because i had dreamt DD1 wasnt mine and that her mum had come to take her away :( was sobbing loud enough DD woke up and came into my room to see what was the matter

This morning though she returned to her monster self and scared he hell out of me by running into my room screaming "ROOOOOAAARRR"

Random dreams? Yes. And they never, ever make sense in the cold light of day. Plus, they're just- weird. It's normal everyday stuff, like teaching someone how to use a camera. Except, the cameras magic and I'm demonstrating it to a pixie. That sort of thing. DH just shakes his head, but it all makes sense at the time!

DH is pleased with himself. He bought an airbed in Tesco's for a fiver, so is happy. I may be forced to divorce him and marry the sofa.... it's sooooo comfy. I can actually sleep. Weirdly, though- I get constant nosebleeds. May be just me, but if I have a full nights proper sleep, I wake up to a nosebleed, but if I toss and turn, I seem to be alright?

Domestic goddess? DH married the wrong person. I can clean, and iron and DIY. Food- there's two varieties. It looks like it's supposed to, but tastes carp. Or, it looks carp and tastes heavenly. Can't seem to get the balance right!

Get cramps in my feet and calves as well occasionally. Just had put it down to the extra weight.

    Hello ladies

Massive labour vibes to the boldies

I fell down the stairs last night - top to bottom - on my arris. Called the hospital and they said baby would be fine; just me that would be hurt - too right - have awful shiners all over me! Not a bright idea at 38+3 - half expecting it to bring on labour! It was such a shock :(

Quiet day at home for me today - bit of cleaning, bit of knitting and watching tv I think.

    xDx

I cant remember the last time I had a dream I remembered.. not in the last several months that is a certainty.

I can barely walk today.. and we have to take the car for repair, buy a birthday present for Squeaks friend for Saturday return some stuff to argos and if I can find the stupid thing.. take the cat to the vet.. and I still have another school run to do.. I couldnt even get in the car this morning... how the heck I will manage round a shop is anybodies guess!!!

My little one kicks me only in the bladder and bottom. It like its treading water in there. Havent had any kicks outwards yet, wish it would so my hubby can feel it. The only movements visible from the outside are when it gets hiccups and my whole tummy jumps.

Ladies - how far along were you when others could feel the baby move from the outside?

Jeez Deb that must have been scary. Hope you are ok. My tests for OC came back negative so that's good news - doesn't explain the itching though!!

  • Dreams - lots yes. And lots of waking myself up crying, proper hysterical sobbing which is just weird!

Been up since 4.30am. Didn't see the point in lying in bed in pain so shuffled down the stairs on my bum because my legs wouldn't work and sat on the sofa in pain instead!

Managed a hobble around Asda last night (which is probably why my legs aren't working) picked up some nappies on offer which are now adding to the piles of carp in the baby's room!

DS back at school today, his dad took him in :( first time since he started school that I haven't walked him to the door on the first day :( feeling very guilty and miserable about it but I expect thats just me and he's not bothered in the slightest. He's starting his last year at juniors, can't get my head around where the time has gone!

Debs - put your feet up and relax, especially after that fall! And no stairs unless strictly necessary!

Labour vibes to the boldies xx
