Hi all,
Little Angel good luck to him, I can relate as passed my test 2nd time in Jan, and wanted it to be before I got too big. Was so stressful but had a calm approach as I knew what to expect, plus by the 2nd time I had Sweetpea to focus on! Egocentric mums can be a pain, make sure you and OH both stand firm, good luck...
Hope everyone who is in pain feels better soon....
Not much movement from bubs last couple of days, guess he's getting cramped in there. I reckon as of today i am 34 weeks, scary stuff.
Thanks for the comments re: snoring, i did jokingly hint at him that if that's all *he's* got to contend with throughout the pregnancy, he should consider himself lucky... I haven't been a dragon (yet) nor made too many demands (yet)...
Loving the idea of a spa, i mentioned at OH that we should spend a night somewhere whilst we can but it was met with a lukewarm response, harrumpf...:):)

Evening everyone,
I feel at 24 weeks its to early to start moaning, but I am going to anyway :rotfl:
I was only at work for 4 hours today, but just being on my feet for that amount of time left me exhausted. My feet hurt, my back hurts and I'm so so so tired! I cant sleep at night because apparently thats when baby likes to wake up and start kicking. Oh and poor OH cant say or do anything at the minute without making me cry
Anyway enough of the self pitying
Hope everyone else who is in pain is feeling better soon!

oohh a nice new thread. i might be able to keep up with this one more. well i'll try.
My pram arrived this morning. i'm so chuffed. after weeks of trying to chosse which one. and although i got it from ebay 90 % of it was still brand new with tags attached. i'm so chuffed as i save about £300 on it.
i'm now 36th on the list  wow going so fast. if i got my dates and workings out right 8 weeks 6 days till me little man is here. how exciting. I'm happy for him to stay where he is and get nice and big and strong. but i can't wait to meet him. will find out at next scan a def section date tho so the time scale of meeting him may change.
Midwife came and saw me today and heard little mans heart beat, it so sweet. I been feeling just weird today. hard to describe dizzy, but everything around seems muffly and well i can't really describe it. but took my blood pressure and although i have lowish blood pressure normally. i find when it goes up or down just ever so slightly then i feel odd. and it was lower today. 115 over 70. i'm always 120 or 121 over 80. so that explains it. Baby is kicking me loads and i'm getting lots of hiccups from him. i love it when he has hiccups. it's weird but nice.
Braxton hicks have started to become less which is fantastic. but when i do get them now they are alot more painful. it is almost quite a sharpe pain now instead of a long dull pain. And more good news baby is also now head down. Which i know it is still early. but for me to have a baby the right way round at any point of the pregnancy is amazing.:rotfl:
and i'm trying to be organised and i've started buying new school uniforms for the kids already. lot's of places have sale's or offers onon. and i thought last thing i want is to be wondering around town either heavily pregnant hunting for school uniform or pushing a pram just after section with 3 other children who dont' wanna be shopping. so i'm buying a little and often when i see bit's. i will tho always rely on trusty asda online shopping for some bits, as i love asda uniforms. but there is no stress with online shopping, lol.
hope everyone else is keeping well.0 -

Hello everyone
Nice and shiny new thread I see! How is everyone doing?
Ive not been too bad, baby is moving around somewhat, not much really going on otherwise. Think hes running out of room.
Apparently I have got bigger in the last few days, my sister told me today lol. Im hoping I dont get much bigger, Ive done well so far with no stretchmarks lol. Im walking funny now and I can even tell I am doing so! I feel silly lol :rotfl:Cant believe its less than 4 weeks til my due date, it is crazy.
Received some pressies today from a friend in USA. They had got them from Harrods so I am very much :eek: and think they are barmy for getting things from there but they are really nice things. Got a teddy that is a puppy saying my first harrods puppy.. we were thinking yes and probably last because its so expensive there lol.
Its my wedding anniversary this week, 5 years. So we are going to go eat somewhere nice and then go watch a movie I think. Nothing too extravagant since we have still got money to pull out for the baby things. Will just be nice to do something for it
I wanted to renew our vows this year as my family werent at our wedding (was in USA) but with baby on the way its just not been possible. Maybe next year
Oh and officially on maternity leave!:j0 -
Hi everyone :hello:
with it being a new thread I thought I'd take the plunge and jump on board. I post on the 12-24 week thread but it is quite quiet on there.
I'm 14+4, EDD 11th Dec, and it is our first baby so we're a pair of novices. I've had quite bad MS and dizziness, which seems to have gone now and I'm left with absolute fatigue. My GP has had me on half days at work for the past 3 weeks and I have another week to go before I go back full time. I'm still sleeping for 2 -3 hours every afternoon and if I don't I get horrible headaches and feel sick and dizzy
For the past 2 weeks I've been collecting donations from my sisters who have 3 kids so have managed to get quite a lot of baby stuff for free, such as pram, moses basket, bumboo, car seat etc.
I've been trying to restrain myself on the buying front in terms of clothes as obviously we can only get neutral things, it's hard though :rotfl:
Hope everyone is well and has better weather than us, it is tipping down here0 -
Morning ladies, have been up since 04:30am, just too hot and couldn't sleep. Wanted to make sure I didn't keep OH awake so came downstairs and napped on the sofa, not much helped by waking myself up occasionally with my own snoring :rotfl:
Sequeena good luck for next week and hope levels are ok!
jcr good to see you around, hope to see you more on here for banter!
Can't remember the name but to whoever recommended The New Contented Little Baby Book, by Gina Ford, thank you, I got it from ebay based on your recommendation and am finding it very useful in planning stages, lots of interesting info :T
Am off to midwife later, week 34 so hopefully he is measuring about that. Will also ask her about the slight changes in my discharge (as I seem to have more normal liquid, as well as the discharge itself, but no offensive smell or anything which is what I was told to look out for).:):)

Morning girls - thanks for the new thread Apricot!!
Not much news from me - apart from leaky nipples making an appearance - nice, I'm only 26 weeks!!
xDxFear is temporary, regret is forever.....:happyhear Baby girl born 27th September - 10 days late!! :happyhear0 -
Morning all,
Nothing exciting here, still have the manky cold and cough - 3 weeks now but it finally seems to be easing off. Elvis has been moving around like mad over the last couple of days which is great, we have picked up the pram from our friends and moved it over to the MIL house so we really are getting there now.
27 + 4 and 8 weeks left at work - feeling really, really mixed about it though, part of me wants to run out the door, the other part wants to stay here and hide lol.
Hope everyone has a pain free day
