We both really like Jacob but know 2 others in the school. Suppose that doesn't really matter. And you have great taste as Aaron is my DS2's name!!

Awww how cute! I think it's hard to get a name that sounds good both in children and as an adult.

I think girls names are easier to choose from. (I know Pigpen won't agree :p )

Someone once said to me picture your child's name on their CV. If you were an employer and a Chardonnay or similar was applying for a job would you even bother interviewing them??! No offence if any of you have children called Chardonnay!!

my GS is Jacob.. DS3s middle name is Maxwell.. Caleb.. make me think gay-lib.. sorry.. and there are loads of Charlies as well.. I like Raven for a boy too, and Silas, Jonah and Barney... depends what it looks like doesnt it..

    AND.. I wont have 2 with the same initial.. so that rules out.. A, B, C, D, F, H, J, L, M and R names too

Gilly.. I have 6 daughters, 5 sisters and a very large extended family which are mostly girls!... it all makes it very difficult to find a decent unused name..

Oooh I love Noah too, and Aidan, but OH doesn't like either, such a pain in the bum of a man. Agree with the C.V thing, the name I've picked for a girl, I'm not sure if it's a bit "baby-ish" and they may outgrow it.

Jonah is nice, I like it. I love hebrew names. Silas makes me think of the albino monk from The Da Vinci Code :o

It's all males in my family, well sort of, my dads brother had 3 girls, but they've all had boys! All my cousins are boys. My OH has a brother and 2 sisters, so it could go either way for us I think.

My best friend is a teacher and every time I mention a name I like she'l reply "oooh no I had a horror a year ago with that name" God help her when it comes her time :D

Sometimes I wish I didn't have a tv, it's a cause of my lazyitus at times, no wonder you get so much done :p
