Apricot, that sounds like a really good delivery, obviously apart from the tear, does that feel better now? Must admit that is one of the main things my worry is focused on at the moment.
    Congratulations on your little girl.

i wish i had a wheelie bin to climb on mine was stolen on wednesday night and my council charges £25 for a replacement even tho this will be my 1st but i live in a high how did the girl put it "wheelie bin crime hotspot" but of course if they emptied the bugg, ers on time we wouldnt have this problem.

I would be contacting your council and ask them if they will take yur rubbish if you just put bin bags out. I f they so 'no your rubbish has to be put in the proper bin' then they have a duty to provide you with a new one for free!

It is not your fault that you live in a high wheelie bin crime hotspot, if they are aware of this then they should return your wheelie bin to your garden rather than leaving it in the street for someone to steal!

I know! i got rather hysterical on the phone so OH took over the call and payed up, they said it would be delivered on friday but it hasnt been, the binmen and the binwoman wont let you put bin bags in the waste truck yourself and i cant keep them out the back because as i discoved yesterday somebodys cats have been in to them.

So i think i need to ring my dad and ask him to take me to the local tip on Monday with the bin bags or the house is just going to stink

The kids steal them round here to burn (i know what your thinking lol what a lovely area i live in, but in fairness theres not a great deal more for them to do)

BTW beautiful name Apricot my neice is called Lily too

Tear is much better now, tbh it only really hurt at all when I was having a wee but even that seems to have subsided now - DD is 4 days old and I've been out to a christening this afternoon and apart from being a bit tired am feeling great. I was panicking about tearing but tbh I didn't actually know that I did tear until MW told me about half an hour after delivery.

Your going to be one of those mothers where NOTHING goes wrong.

Whilst we all lie on the bed passed out from tiredom you'll be bouncing up and down the street with your beautiful baby. Grrrrrr.

Can anyone tell I am in a BAD mood.

Probably because Fluffys parents just picked him up to take him home and the baby still hasn't arrived which means I have to go to hospital with mum. Unless he arrives on wednesday or thursday as those are his days off. But then again we don't even know if Fluffy will be able to drive here because it would be his first time on a 60 mile journey by himself :(

Abby the hormone high from labour and birth can last a good few days, I'm sure (well I hope) we will all feel good, but we will all have our bad days too where we sit in dressing gowns and with greasy hair looking at the mess in total sleep deprived apathy. Well I do :rotfl:

I can see why you're upset though, it's a bit crap they won't let him have the time off. Why did he tell them he wasn't the bio father, if you don't mind me asking? My OH has had time off before to look after me and my older rabble and his work didn't bat an eyelid and they know he is their stepfather!
