That will be plenty.. get some ordinary pads in for when you have used those.. you really only need them while you are in hospital because they like the mattress ones best.. you do know you can get slimline maternity ones though? Tesco and Boots do them for definite

Absorbancy wise they are the same.

Hopsital like the thick ones as they can 'see' how heavy your loss is..

Usually you only bleed very heavily a couple of days after that it is just like normal period loss.. as an estimate.. but it can of course carry on for about 8 weeks.

Thanks girlies for all your support :) xxx

I have managed to get a couple of hours sleep and that has helped a lot with my mood. I still feel rubbish but not as pathetic as I did before. I think everything always seems worse when you're tired! I'm anaemic too so my low iron levels probably don't help with the tiredness!

I've managed to have a butty for dinner and (touch wood) I haven't been sick :) the doctor said to eat little and often and I'm going to make sure I stick to fairly plain food so I don't aggravate the heartburn!

I need to ring my boss now and tell her I've been signed off, there's a conversation I'm not looking forward to having!

Just read back all the conversation about gender.... We are expecting a little boy bit it was a huge shock to be told flump was a he as we have hardly any boys in my family and everyone was convinced I was having a girl! Ten weeks to go till we see if the scan is correct!!! We had a 4d scan and flump's face looks very boyish :) xxx

Glad to hear you're feeling brighter Mancbird. Take it easy if you can.

When I booked my pedicure the therapist said they're not supposed to do the bottom of your feet in case it brings on labour. I've told her I don't want it if she doesn't! DH has been giving foot rubs every night practically throughout this pregnancy and my little boy doesn't seem to have minded. In fact at the last check up the midwife said not to expect an early birth as he seems quite comfy in there with no intention of shifting. Not got another check up till next week.

I wonder if RLT just affects different people differently or if a lot of it's effects are more placebo or coincidence? I am a lot more drug tolerant than DH so I guess people must have different tolerance levels to one another too. I'd fully intended to start at RLT at 32 weeks it was only the midwife's comments that stopped me.

Ive got some unisex outfits for bubs but I'm sticking with the boy clothes for hospital. The sonographer was pretty certain when he told us the gender and if it proves to be wrong then so be it. I'll get plenty of photos so our child can have story thrown back at (?)her when (?)she's older. However I feel like he's going to be the boy we've been told he'll be. Quicky cheesy comment (2nd of the day!) - I don't care whether he is a he or she, as long as he or she is ok.

Sleep wise nothing is improving but to be honest I've sort of given up on not feeling tired. I try to avoid napping because I want to try and keep my body clock regulated for as long as I can.

I just had my sweep.....IT WAS FINEEEEE

Well, it was untill she managed to prod his head. Apparently I am 2cm dilated, is that good? Anyway I am home now feel very shaky (and have decided I had low blood sugar so ate a box of donuts...) and my lower back is achy :(

Someone sooth me and tell me I'm going to pop soon. Don't lie though...

I'm guessing any dilation is a good start and lower back pain is supposed to be one of the signs of labour! Every one I've heard about so far is different though and it doesn't mean it won't stop at some point

    BUT

good luck and massive labour vibes to you!

2cm is normal in later stages of pregnancy.

You ARE going to pop in the next 2 weeks.
