Is this a good deal? I want to get the wife a Wii for her birthday in Feb., but we had decided to wait until Xmas as that's when the packages are available and who knows we may get extra controllers and stuff....

I managed to get a Wii last Xmas but only just. I had to spend hours and hours just boringly refreshing different pages (Amazon, John Lewis, Aros etc etc). If this year is anything like last year, there will be 'drought' on Wii's as every parent in the country will be trying to bag one for their kids. IMHO, If you want one for Xmas, try and get one sooner rather than later.0 -
I got a Wii last Xmas using a stock alert site and I have just got a Wii Fit at RRP the same way.0

I have just ordered my wii fit from Play.com 69.99 and free delivery. Confirmation has come through today to say it has been dispatched. yeah!!
Have only just purchased the Wii console + sports then bought the wii play to get another remote. It is brilliant especially when played with other people, a great laugh. If you play the games as if you are really bowling, boxing, playing tennis ect. you can really feel it on your muscles so a good exercise machine that I will actually keep up. :j
Can't wait to get the wii fit then at least I won't end up 'lop sided':rolleyes:0
