My Hermes (Courier)

I think MyHermes are great.
Anything over 1kg I tend to send with them, my local guy is really friendly and prompt, he's never missed a delivery.
Only on one occasion has something been delayed, and that was when we had the snow last winter and they contacted the courier whose wife found the package in their home and said it would be delivered the next day and it was.
I also think DHL are fab, and Parcelforce, the only courier I'm not keen on is citylink aka shittylink.0 -
I think they are good value for money, and as long as you are careful with what you send using their service, alwasy pretty reliable. I have used them 6 times so far, for books and unbreakables - can't beat them, they collect from my doorstep (well, outside my doorstep) while i'm at work and had no problems, and its cheaper than walking to the Post Office (if it was open outside working hours) and they collect for less than we pay Royal Mail!!
For breakables however, sent a £22 rice cooker. Smashed on arrival. There is up to £25 insurance included, which I claimed on, sent all the relevant details including pictures my customer took at the other end, and it was all covered efficiently. Probably I won't use them for breakables again - but I think they are worth a try.0
