Loan repayment fund - £1518.98 (Pleased with that, as the day before payday it was about £80 less, so I'm aiming on adding £100 into it again this month)

Cats booked into vets for tomorrow. Savings due to plummet accordingly. Likely to be scratched/bitten while trying to get the little sods into their carriers too....

:rotfl: That sounds like an episode of "visit to the vet" in our house too :rotfl:

The trouble is, Mr Fresian's an idiot. Let me explain...

I wanted him to get the cat boxes out of the loft tonight and just leave them lying around with no effort to get said cats into said boxes. Tomorrow I would add a wee fleecie blankie before I went to work, and when I came home, chances would be that one or both of them would be asleep in the box, leaving me just to lock them in and take them to the vet.

Now it's going to be a last-minute panic to get the carriers from the loft, and we'll probably have a situation like this. :rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl: Yes, that is exactly what it is like, only worse! Our two go in the same carrier (they always have and the vet says it is fine) so try that x 2 in one carrier  Oh the pain I have felt.

£112 spent today on checkup and vaccinations for the moggies.

Both of them need teeth out (£500) and one needs a scan to confirm the seriousness of his newly discovered heart murmur (£60) :(

    OH. EM. GEE.

I'm stunned into silence for a change! Sorry for the cats that they need so much work doing, and sorry for your wallet also...Did you think it was going to cost that much?:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

PS - hope the heart murmur isn't anything serious xxx

Thanks petal. Sadly mogs aren't insured, as I cancelled the insurance when I had my LBM and hadn't gotten around to getting new insurance done.

We had no idea that Mog 2 had anything wrong with his heart. We last had them at the vets a couple of years ago (bad owners, I know, I know) and they didn't pick anything up, so it might have developed since then. He's in good health otherwise though so the scan will tell us how worried we should be. I'm hoping it's something that can be controlled with medication. T'other cat is in good health apart from his tooth needing to be taken out, which is good news. We did have a chuckle when the vet asked "Has he always been skinny?" Anyone who has seen my cats on Facebook will know that's amusing!

The cats are booked in for the end of the month, which is when I'm due a good chunk of overtime, so hopefully there won't be too much extra money to find. Plans for Christmas will be curtailed though....
