Today I'm planning on getting a lot of tidying up/organising done in the house. I also have to post a couple of sold items (one of which has been sitting on Amazon for donkeys, so I'm pleased it's sold!) and return some clothes to the shops. Once they're returned I'll know if I've overspent on my credit card again.

I received my key for Mama Fresian's house (we're taking it while herself and Papa Fresian are on holiday) and when I spoke to her on the phone she said that she's left loads of meat in the freezer and bread etc for us to use so it should be a nice MSE trip away.

I've also had an email saying my £3 of Quidco has been paid, so I'll PAD that somewhere when it arrives.
  • I definitely agree with you that if Mr Fresian does the housework and also pays for his own stuff, he is contributing!

Thanks ladies, although I'm not officially on holiday until 5pm on Friday night :D

I've had a very relaxing weekend. Saturday was mainly Errands Day when I went to the shops for the week's food shopping, returned some clothes (£94 back on the credit card) and posted some parcels. Yesterday I did nothing but sit on my behookey and watch the telly :D

I've been asked to make a couple of cards to order for someone I know from MSE/FB, so am doing one of them tonight as it has to be ready for Thursday. I've done the stamping colouring part, just have to put it all together now :)

Last night while Mr Fresian was watching Match of the Day I made my first calendar (you can see it on my blog if you like) Although it looks really tricky it was actually very simple to do and I'm thinking about making a load of them to send to people as part of their Christmas gift. I might try and sell some too. The one on my blog is for me (I do love an owl!) and is a little fancier, but I could make them in bulk using square shapes more easily. One to ponder for later methinks :D

Oh, and to make me feel like I still belong here and not on DFW, my monthly mortgage payment has taken my balance below £43,000 :D

I like the way you've done the calendar. Have been looking for ideas for calendars to send to family for the Big C. When you've got kids you can use pics of them 'cause everyone thinks they're so cute, they forget you haven't bought a real prezzie :p

This lady is an MSE-er from the cardmaking thread and it's her tutorial I used to make it :D
