Surveys
Onepoll - £12.65
Valued opinions - £?? (website is down!)
Ipsos - 900 points
Toluna - 67969 (Really need to blitz them if I have any hope of seeing a voucher for Christmas...!)
Mysurvey - 250 points
Swagbucks - 625SB
I really need to crack on with the surveys and not lose focus, as I'm really behind in my normally military-style preparations for Christmas. I have a load of people to buy for and need to start making lists and checking them twiceI'm going to be haunting the grabbit board as I don't want to spend any more than what's in my Christmas account (£131 at the moment plus £90 as I pay £30 per month into it. I do also have Papa and Brother Fresian's birthdays before Christmas though and that will be coming from the same fund. Anything I can buy from Amazon will therefore be preferred!)

Received a £5 Amazon voucher today from Mysurvey that I had forgotten about ordering, so my balance is now over £18 again, having spent £27 the other day pre-ordering a game for Mr Fresian's Christmas present.
I filled the car today using my Sainsbury's card, so a 5% discount on the cost of the fuel and this was paid for using my expenses money, so that's going to be a free week of fuel reallyI still have £110 on my giftcard, and will be paying my petrol for our wee holiday to the north in a couple of weeks with my own money as there are no Sainsbury's petrol stations up there!
Bed now - working in Fife tomorrow so have to leave the house a bit earlier than normalWill get some petrol money for it though, so woo! My plan at the moment is to top up my Sainsbury's gift card every time I get petrol expenses through, in addition to the £100 topup I do every month anyway. When it gets to the start of December, I hope to have built up a wee excess on the card and can use that to buy some gifts for relatives as Sainsbury's often do nice knitwear and smellies sets. What do people think about that idea? I'm trying to think originally here as I didn't find that many sales bargains this year so am sweating at the thought of paying full price for anything to be honest :rotfl:

I think it's a great idea FF
I'm trying to avoid facing up to the fact that the C word is coming, To be fair, I don't have that mnay to buy for and even although I'm in denial I am sort of looking for bargains as well - bought a set of 1/2 price Yankee Candles for a friend the other day (and sort of accidentally ordered a set for me as well
)
How is Fred?A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

How is Fred?
No problems with him so far, and when we go to the North for our holidays he's being treated to a service as he's due one anyway and Mr F's parents have a garage so we just pay for any parts and they don't charge us labour :money: As garage rates are £60p/h here, it's a saving worth making

Ebay
Items for sale - 19
Items with bids - 2
Items with watchers - 11
Current selling price - £8.98
Ebay is going well considering that the items don't end until Sunday. Hopefully all those watchers will transform into bidders!!
I get paid on Friday and still have £10 left in my PAD/Spends account, and have a current surplus of £14 in my Entertainment account and £27ish in my groceries account. They will be used to send money to my loan overpayment account tomorrow I think, although some might diverted into the Christmas fund.
I'm due a decent amount of overtime on Friday and need to budget for this when it arrives. I miss not seeing my payslip a couple of days before I get paidI know that I have to:
- Pay off anything outstanding on my credit card
- Return some clothes before I do this (to Wallis and Asda, showing that I am at both ends of the posh scale sometimes :rotfl:) so I know how much money is actually outstanding
- Keep money aside for our holiday - I'm thinking about £300 to cover all food/petrol etc. I plan on taking a box of essentials with me anyway so I don't have to pay Highland food prices
- Anything left will be a loan overpayment I think
At least it's hump day....

The excess on the Sainsburys card sounds like a good plan to me too. Last year I managed to buy a digital photo frame and some other bits at a good reduced price just prior to Christmas, so it's worth holding out. I've ordered a few dvds and puzzles from play.com in their £5 sale for my 2 little men. The free p&p is a great bonus. I'm actually going to wrap them at the weekend as i'm worried the eldest might look for them. It's driving him insane that parcels keep arriving but he's not allowed to look at them :rotfl:One step at a time0

Hello, oh slender one! Great idea re Christmas. Do you get your messages in Sainsbugs mainly? Sorry if I missed that bit.
Inspired by you I am still doing mysurvey and just got another £10 Amazon voucher through. X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -

I mainly do my messages in Aldi/Morrisons for cheapness, but can buy Sainsbury's gift cards via work for 5% off, so use this for fuel. Each time I get petrol expenses via work I buy another giftcard for the same amount, so if I have an excess of fuel money at the start of December I'll buy Christmas presents with it0
